People really don't know how the Music Industry works.. First, the company buys an instrumental piece and then they write lyrics or the artist themselves can write it. There's been so many cases like this and I just don't like how they blame The Artist. Demi is 19(younger than ALL of SNSD members) and she have plenty of time to gain fans. Just saying, SNSD has plenty of stupid songs too (Oh,Gee). Guys, Born to be a Lady wasn't made by SM. Mistake also dosen't made by Demi. The original composer sold it to both of them which means SNSD will sing in Japanese while Demi sing in english in a different way but both are same music and melody!

In case you haven't noticed, SME likes buying songs from "Western" composers (those who make the songs' "backbones" - not necessarily the lyrics), and there are also "Western" artists' versions (with diff meanings), a classic example: DBSK's Mirotic and Sarah Connor's Under My Skin. If you check who composed the song, it lists the same names, but if you check who wrote the lyrics, obviously the Korean (or in this case, Japanese) lyrics were written by someone else from the company.

@thisisam09 Taeyeon had about 3 years of training in SM before debuting in SNSD,the only "training" Demi had was vocal classes. Demi had her first headline tour back in 2009, exactly the same as SNSD (ITNW tour) and even SNSD had f(x),SHINee, some SJ members with them. Demi is 19(younger than ALL of SNSD members) and she have plenty of time to gain fans. Just saying, SNSD has plenty of stupid songs too (Oh,Gee). I love SNSD, but some of their fans really need to stop bashing other people.

Guys, Born to be a Lady wasn't made by SM. Mistake also dosen't made by Demi. The original composer sold it to both of them which means SNSD will sing in Japanese while Demi sing in english in a different way but both are same music and melody!

As a fan of both, I have to say that though they both sound great, I still like SNSD's original song better because one, the ranges of voices, it's not just one person singing it but nine which added to the song and two, I personally like the lyrics of the original song better. I will still support Demi and her new album but I can't get the original song out of my head if I listen this song.
