  • 8 minutes of absolute pure magic

  • These guys were punk before punk was punk.

  • @Maat922 these guys are still punks

  • On my Bucket List: Must see Rod Stewart live before I die.

  • ahahahahahahahha

(points) 'don't you sit down there'

  • this is by far one of the best acts i have ever seen on stage period

  • I was on the road crossing the USA back in 71. This song came out when I was in Phoenix AZ. on my way to CA. It has always been with me since then.. I have never forgotten it... Maggie May still kicks ass.. Yes I liked Paul Mcdonalds version but this is the original... Glad to see Ron Woods play with Rod again...

  • the nuts

  • amazing new band

    /watch?v=toUavOS9_YM

  • best version on youtube

    thanks

  • @lookylooky2006 Thanks for watching!

  • Ronnie is the best :)

  • That is one bad ass bass player

  • spettacolare risentirla ,sempre

  • As lame as this sounds, Paul McDonald brought me here. Of course this is a better version

  • My wee westie is named Maggie =)

  • :) look at the joy on these people faces! I'm 51 and I'm not tired of rebellion... what will you do later on?

  • ronnie the best!!!!

  • @tigarmyrule I hear ya'. I hear ya'. You make a valid point. Nothing wrong and yes better to keep at it as opposed to your point of giving up. I suppose I was just a bit surprized.

  • Looks more like a Frank Sinatra crowd, not a R&R crowd? Not knocking the musicians they are showing they are all very good at their craft. But this looks more like what these Rockers once called old folk music. Ronnie looks out of place. Sad, The Faces were a great R&R band not a lounge act.

  • @ChrisJHutchins nothing wrong with a Sinatra crowd mate and nothing wrong with 50 somethings maturing and changing. I take your point but what are they to do? wither up and die. No. They are cashing in and why not?

  • @ChrisJHutchins Age has nothing to do with enjoying life, if Rod & Ronnie don't prove that nothing will. What do you expect 50+ people to be wearing? Tie dyed halters & faded blue jeans? Come on folks lets all just embrace the things in life that bring pleasure without judging or putting labels on it. Loving memories & making new ones! Absolutely loved seeing this piece. I've been blessed enough to see them both live several times & all I can say is they still got it!

  • @ChrisJHutchins The audience is all from the same generation as Rod or younger. They've matured, got real jobs, had families, been contributors to their communities and now they've just come back to pay respects to their younger years. The 'Frank Sinatra' crowd, as you call them, is actually pushing up daisies in their local graveyards. This song is a lot more relevant to these people than you give them credit for.

  • @DigitalGrotto Furthermore, the fact they embrace the older genres, like Rod, speaks to their intelligence. Don't denegrate these people with your haughty reverse snobbery.

  • @DigitalGrotto I think you missed the point. If my comments make me out a snob, what is the "haughty" labeling. Of course I suppose that the assessment is possibly a defensive reaction. Perhaps from somebody who has the point of view that they need to rationalize their current life situation as real as opposed to some notion they rejected before they got “real”? I could be wrong. But my statement earlier has garnered some interesting response. May you find peace.

  • @DigitalGrotto nobody is taking credit away from anybody, just ironic. Maturity is a mtter of perception , Real jobs? As opposed to fake jobs? OK sure. I say again not knocking anybody here. Still looks ironic to me.

  • LOL Great clip, and anything that Woody takes part in gets an extra BOOST! The crossover into GA is incredible! Thanks whoever posted this.

  • 1:18 1:44 nice girl:P

  • can't get enough seeing him on stage, amazing !!

  • what live show is this and can i get it on dvd

  • Gents, this is why professional musicians are professionals.

Can't explain how hard it is, as a band, to just slow down, and speed up, and stop and start in perfect unison.

Watch the first 30 seconds, where they just stop playing, and then come back in?!

  • Fantastic...wish I was at that show!

    I LOVE YOUTUBE!!!!!!

  • Maggie May was his 33 year old Girlfriend when he was 16..........! haha

  • great Solo Ronnie!

  • It's taken me forever to see Ron as a Stone. For me it was always these two. They made some great music together over the years.

  • GRANDES TEMAS

  • That Little "Fiddle" player girl's name is Janna Jacobi i believe. she's from Redding, CA where i'm from. their family had a music business there or something ( store?) i grew up there from '73 till about '83. not sure if i ever met her, but my Mom ( god rest her soul) Told me that once.

I found that to be so very interesting.

    way to go Jenna.

  • @blackydolly She's from Redlands, California.

  • @blackydolly ive been in love with her for awhile, lol

  • No ones more cool than Ron Wood!

  • Word

  • What great bass playing...who is it?

  • Two absolute legends, prefer the early stuff, but the lads are still doing all these years later to sold out venues. Speaks volumes

  • Very rich, very LA, very lost the roots, very good song with the soul ripped out of it and the folk who sing it.

I remember when these guys were 'the faces' and proud proletarians. They lost it big time here. Only the song saved their rich arses.

  • the bass is too damn loud

  • One of the greatest songs ever

  • the bass player is pretty good man

  • Pretty cool cats...Rod "the Mod" Stewart and Ron "Woodie" Wood! They don't make em like that anymore! Thanks so much for the posting! Long Live Rock, I need it every night!
