  • 0:40 OMG

  • Is it being started after 25, 31 or 32 years? Also, the annoying kid and shaky camerawork made this difficult to watch.

  • little kid made me die laughing

  • 2:17 hello milky WTF with kid?

  • DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Disliked because of the annoying kid

  • i hope that you change oil.

  • The cutest part is the kid..."ready"...after moving the camera all over the place, lol...very nice Volvo.

  • hi milky =)

  • This particular Volvo is a 1963 P1800 S - Its now being restored in Denmark by a retired mechanic.

  • I believe the guy who owns Ikea has one of these that he's had since the 60s, and all it has had done is the clutch and brakes in that time?

  • the kid is class

  • those are getting kinda rare. and im from sweden :P

  • please... PLEASE! dont let you kid film a vid again

  • i also had trouble watching this one because idk what to believe on it and two because the the video is making me motion sick from the camera going all over the place

  • Ok wtf. The description says 32 years, the captioning in the video says 31 years and the guy says 25 years so justs which one is it

  • Favourite quote= "hi milky!"

  • Those P1800 were built to last. Most durable car ever. In fact, one has set a world record and done over a million miles without a single replacement. Another done 645000 miles before an engine rebuild and never refused to start and now has over a million miles, but the owner has a target for 2 million and even drove to the Volvo head quarter in Sweden form the UK.

  • For all who complain about the camera work; just remember this is a little boy helping his father out and sharing an interest in cars, which today is a rare thing sadly.

  • s a y h k

  • she said hi milky!! pay more atention next time ok? but you have a very sweet girl and you are a good dad and mechanic

  • she said hi milky!! pay more atention next time ok?

  • see if my dad handed me a camra at that age....he would have smacked me for saying hi to my milk while he was starting his car

  • STRAWBERRY MILK!!!!

  • HELLO MILKY!!!!

  • madjimms : you don't have to watch it dumbass.

  • Next time don't let your child film >_>

  • That kid is too cute!

  • I hate ether.... Ruins shit.... just give it a squirt of gas.

  • Do you still have it?

  • good job!

  • 0:45 blessyou camera lady/man

  • @Edelwulf Shut up.

  • i feel dizzy

  • Man, once she kicked, it sounded great.I hope you're driving it by now.

  • Awesome! Are you driving it now?

  • was Michael J Fox there for the camera work?

  • I thing his starter needs a rebuild.

  • yeah, i think his daughter got the camera!!

  • Девочка блять снимай нормально !!

  • I started a five year stored 73 ES yesterday.Volvos always start eventually.Seems like they run pretty good on varnish/rust/fuel/seafoam mix pretty good too!

  • Looks like a clean 1800. Nice amazon too! What are your plans?

  • 31, 32, 25 years

  • I had trouble watching this.. The camera work made me dizzy.

  • word. i gota headache from watching this.

  • Tell Milky I said hi

  • Nice!

  • 25 or 32 years WTF IS IT

  • My 66 p1800 only sat 15 years, marvel mystery oil, a new battery and some fuel and it turned over right away! Kudos :)

  • cool man, starts better than my sisters jeep if its been sitting for an hour in 75 degree weather! i think a new starter would be a wise investment though hehe

  • heh my bmw 315 sitted like 5 to 10 years and now there is no hope anymore to get it running. Or maybe running with a lot work, but it wont move anywhere, the gearbox is totally fucked. but this is a volvo so what do you expect ;)

  • nice I love old volvos fired up after sitting that long is a testament to the brand

  • 32 ? 31 ? 25????

  • 100 yrs?!

  • is that a sl i cant tell

  • he shad get an new photograf

  • that starter motor is not very good..

  • volvo start every time! winter or summer!

  • It sure does, I've never had a car that starts so easily as my volvo.

a volvo never lets you down !

  • lol what a pain

  • WO WO

    what?

    i dunno

    lol...

  • is it bad that the kid has better camera skills than 90% of the videos on youtube?

  • 25, 31, 32..... WTH?

  • Nice car,she's a cherry!!

  • 25 or 32?

  • 32, 33, whatever it takes

  • lol is that a brake booster next to your right elbow? if so that thing is gargantuan!!!

  • Yes, that is the very large, very complex brake booster. it is the original lucas booster. but it no longer works and was by-passed by the original owner.

  • nice video and lovely car i had one of them in blue. Its a wonder he didnt drop the camera wen he sneezed like that lol

  • Volvo power!!Do like Ford:buy Volvo!!; )

  • Now he remembers why he parked it in the first place.

  • Didn't park it in the first place. It was a barn find, and body is in excellent condition. Besides, for a car to start like that and sound that smooth, (except for no exhaust on it) is pretty amazing. This is going to be one cool car when I finish!

  • Dad's a cutie.

  • You've got a great little director there. And a beautiful car!

  • Hi Milky. Very cute.

  • It's great to see an old Volvo spring back to life, but I think the very best thing about this video is seeing it from a child's point of view---the way he turns the camera sideways, gets distracted by other things to point the camera at, the comments like "Hello, Mr. Milky!". We need more Dads like this.

  • amazing !!!! it runs smooth and the cranking is not even long !!!!!!!!

  • Pretty nice Volvo. Amazing after 31 years... most cars i know would have fucked valve springs after that long time

  • hi milky LOL

I have had harder times starting my 1800

when its cold out with no choke :)

it almost caught at 1 min something on the tape if the starter had been solid i bet it would have started within 45 seconds :)

  • SOUND LIKE A BULL

  • Man, music to my ears! Been working on a 73 ES myself. Cool videography too :)
