  • That tie is brilliant.

  • @nickfromfulhamagain I LOVE YOU

  • The Ewoks got off lightly. In comparison to what I would do to Jar-Jar-Binks...

  • How could even a prairie dog confuse Alan Davies and Stephen Fry?

  • ALAN!! ALAN!!!!

  • I think i would have enjoyed science more if Brian cox was my teacher

  • I do like the brainy guests. It's a good balance for the comedians.

  • Brian Cox = Noel Fielding

  • I think I made a bit of a mess in my pants when I saw Prof. Cox's face on the preview pic

  • Yay Kentucky!

  • I am sincerely in love with Brian.

  • 10:55 What happened to the penguin to the right of Sue Perkins?! Wheres it's head?!

  • My name is Susan and when Sue said "It's an arachnid, Susan!" I felt like crawling in a corner.

  • they should have cox on here more often :)

  • I absolutely adore Russ Noble!

  • "I'm thinking of Neptune or Uranus....um-no, no, no, no!"

  • IS IT.. MAGIC!?

  • this is the best QI ever. And that's saying a lot.

  • i want to marry Brian Cox. Talk science to me!

  • Should the sun explode, what would you do in the 8 minutes left? Watch QI of course.

  • How can you have liquid diamond? Doesn't Carbon sublimate (aka. not exist in a liquid form)

  • Lol at 9:34 :O (don't know his name, the long-haired one.) epic face is epic

  • @SuperJohnny246 Ross Noble^^ He is epic at any given point in time.

  • Lol. Wow.

  • Anyone remember the great story Rich Hall told about prairie in another ep?

  • "and some very cross ewoks" LMFAO!

  • Fuck you Brian Cox you magnificent bastard

  • Does being a Kentucky Colonel involve being issued a white suit, and cane?

  • PROF BRIAN COX :D :D :D

  • hey Amy Perkins is on the show! ;)

  • It took me until 20:47 to realize that Sue's mic is taped to her shirt. I know what that says about where I was looking and I'm only a little ashamed. Not much, though.

  • @IJVin No love, it's that you took almost 21 minutes to notice.

  • Sue's mime of Stephen defending the Commonwealth of Kentucky is priceless

  • ''The crushing pressure in Uranus'' :D

  • a perfect world is Sue Perkins on every station

  • Alan's buzzer is pure epic in this episode.

  • Ah, Brian gets so adorably excited when he explains something <3

  • Who cares about squeaky voices!? How will we make zeppelins without helium!?

  • I bet that secretary to the pope was joking. 'Oh, saturn has rings. I bet jesus put his foreskin on that.'

  • who are the ppl who dislike this?evidently challenged by there own intelligence.

  • @TheFloat303 Though they probably know the difference between "their" and "there." And understand capitalization. And spell "people" correctly.

  • Tossing Ewoks = 25:45 ! Cox is quick & very funny.

  • Well as Nick's video is a re-load, I get to make my comment about Sue Perkins been a secret crush of mine again!

I know she is on the other bus, but I still think she is very sexy.

  • @theduderwiggysan im with you man,she is very sexy, funny, intelligent and a lesbian which seems to make her twice as hot.

  • @TheFloat303 Is it the the whole " I can show them " idea ??? I dont know, but .... my word, I'd love to give it a go !

  • @theduderwiggysan I am also with you. I've been in love with Sue Perkins since Light Lunch.

  • The poor bastards don't know they have been all automatically excommunicated by Catholic Church for speaking about the Holy Prepuce.

  • brian cox should now be a regular on QI

  • @MrMillsy1986 I would like to go back in time and replace every one of John Session's appearances on the show with Brian Cox.

  • @MrMillsy1986 PROF. brian cox

  • @MrMillsy1986 While I agree he was a great panellista, I think the good Professor has better and more lucrative things to do.

  • I don't get how or why Ross Noble has a career.

I was at a show taping last year and he just drones on and on, interrupting everyone to tell his hilarrrrrrious stories, which you can kinda guess that at least 90% of them are bullshit, anyway, which would be fine if they were funny, or at least INTERESTING would do.

I don't understand why the BBC put him on ALL of their shows.

  • If that man was my professor... I would have an A and he would have a wet dick.

  • Ross Noble is really good in his other gigs.

But why does he try an hog the screentime of EVERY QI episode he's in, to the point of shouting over people at times, dude there are 4 other people on that show learn to stfu for 5 secs an listen.

  • Mmm 1950 is when Carbon Dating was invented. Carbon dating can be calibrated using dendrochronology so the change in atmospheric C14 isn't really an issue.

  • That final quote from Will Rogers is perfect.

  • If you listen to Alan's buzzer closely you can hear "Bose-Einstein Condensate" from the series B Christmas Special.

  • I chuffing love it

  • 17 000+ views, no dislikes. Ha!

  • That look of puzzlement on Ross his face every time Brian starts to talk...haha

  • okay why is jeremy clarkson cursed all the time and nick (i presume the uploader) made into a hero with these videos; is there something i should know?

  • I love Brian Cox's T-shirt. 'made in manchester'...so true and I'm so glad he was! (especially as my family is from that area!)

  • On the subject of liquid ntrogen, I had the pleasure of putting my finger in it yesterday.

  • I love Brain Cox's snooty, physics-informed denigration of other sciences. "Past" and "Present" are essential concepts in archaeology, and typology might be "the pedantry of biologists", but without which biology would be rather nebulous. He's great, though, and well smart.

  • I wish Sue Perkins wasn't a lesbian

  • they should have Brian Cox on more often,I was just watching him on Stargazing Live with Dara O Briain and he is brilliant!

  • I wouldn't mind Stephen Fry as my sat nav.

  • Prof. Brian Cox makes Physics sound so much more interesting than it did when I studied it. I wish he was my teacher.... although he is quite tasty so I doubt I'd be paying attention :P

  • dammit why do some lesbians have to be really pretty?

  • The most attractive panel to date.

  • I would pay for a QI lapel pin like the one Stephen is wearing...

  • I cannot stand Ross Noble on this show. I don't mind him otherwise but here he just goes on these stupid fantasies that just detract from the point of the show. They should tell him to speak less.

  • @JolandaCeplak

i sort of agree, but at the same time theres some great interactions between him and brian as a result

  • @JolandaCeplak I have to disagree. Tossing Ewoks into a lake of fart made my month.

  • Holy shit I started crying when Ross Noble started talking about throwing Ewoks into a lake of fart.

  • @locopyro13 - I died when Brian explained to him that he couldn't all logical like.

  • <3 sue perkins... but brian is god... that guy is awesome

  • I come from Port Pirie! Kinda jealous that I don't have the key and he does...

  • i'd love prof brian cox to do science to me....

  • One of Alan's best buzzers!

  • It kind of seems as though, throughout this episode, that Stephen is developing a little crush on Brian.. anyone else see this? Haha

  • @MrQtipss Stephen loves Brian. His review of Brian's book, "Why Does E=mc^2?" is most favourable indeed, finishing with, "Can someone this charming really be a professor?"

  • Sue Perkins really grinds my gears this episode. I do not at all find her funny.

  • My dream team : Brian Cox, David Mitchell and Bill Bailey

  • @AbaseFilms Good list. I would definitely include David Mitchell, but Dara O Briain would be in my dream team.

  • HEEEEY my favorite youtube uploader!! :D

  • Nick, I'll buy you a beer if I'm ever in Fulham!

  • if Sue Perkins had watched QI regularily shed know that only about a third of all human stomaches contain bacteria that produce methane and that the main gas in farts is in fact hydrogen :) shesh I love this show

  • Only on QI you can feel your stomach hurt from laughing, and your brain hurt from the massive amount of knowledge flowing in it!

I love you Nick, and QI! :D

  • I really hate it when everyone derails Brian when he's talking about something really interesting.

  • I think I might be bromance shipping Sue and Alan. They're so adorable when they interact with each other! <3

  • I'm not from England, and so I'd only heard of prof Brian Cox. In my head, as in many's I suspect, he has always looked like the actor Brian Cox, but even older, and with a beard (he's Professor Brian Cox, after all). How great that the guests weren't introduced properly the first time I ever see him appear on anything, so that I'm left wondering, who's that charming bloke and why does he know so bloody much?

  • How very dare those BBC nyetkulturniks! My complaint has been filed. Good luck, Mr. Nick.

  • "This is how to get teenagers interested in astronomy!"

...As I 14yr old who got her first telescope at the age of 5, I was kinda annoyed by that.

  • @slightlyinsaneFTW Unfortunately, your kind of teenagers are in a minority.

I suppose its not that 'most teenagers aren't interested in science' but the fact that some scientific principles are often incomprehensible to some human minds. (but that's just my theory)

  • @Dranzira I agree, even if I don't like it. Most of the time at school (especially during science lessons) I tend to be the one interested in what we're doing, everyone else just cares about their phones.

  • @slightlyinsaneFTW Lol, it gets better the higher up you go in education. By the time your in uni it'll be like a communion of like-minded geeks! ;)

  • Thank you so much for all the episodes! I really appreciate your uploads as I live in Singapore, and the only British channel available is BBC News :-/

  • kufre355, the BBC keeps removing Nick's downloads.

  • o and i love the way Stephen talks to Jhonny Vegas when hes on lol

  • Nothing beats QI, Sir (matter of time) Stephen fry is just pure class and makes the show. Sean Lock/David Mitchell are probably my fave guests but the guests are replaceable really ,,,,,Fry is not, English tv is pretty darn shit tbh made for low attention span fuckers,,,,, QI is the ice cold beer in the desert as far as i'm concerned.

  • I love Sue's little forfeit dance :)

  • I showed the pouring gas experiment to my roommates and they thought it was awesome. :DDD

  • THANK THE LORD!!!!!! YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!

  • So that's what happened! Cheers Nick, a million thanks to you for introducing qi to me.

  • I live in New Zealand. The ONLY quality British television we get is on UKTV (which I don't have) or on normal tv at midnight. Not even kidding. Thank you so much.

  • You're brave man.

  • You're playing with fire Nick, but damn it I respect you. Maybe Master Fry will champion your fight the Mighty Beeb quest,

  • @fairfaxnative What happened to Nick?

  • @fairfaxnative I fear not, since he has a contract with the BBC and it would be a big conflict of interests for him. Although he may secretly agree with the principle.

  • I almost cried when I saw your channel had been deleted :(

    You're fantastic!

This is the best QI episode ever!

  • I wanna go for a beer with Brian Cox, I'd feel so dumb around him but it would totally be worth it.

  • @amintaha89 Indeed. I'd just go with him to see how others would react to hearing talk.
