I also think that the police are reluctant to re-open an investigation on the case in the event that it was a murder for fear of seeming incompitant on the case given all the media attention it would attract.
If what Grant says is true why not release all the tapes to the public. Let us hear his claims on the tapes he has. I really don't think Courtney killed Kurt. Kurt is dead, that's the sad truth. 1. The electrician, not expecting Kurt to be home and never having met Kurt, thought he was an intruder, they had a confrontation, the electrician killed Kurt. They deemed it was self defense and destroyed the evidence to protect the life of the electrician due to fears of retaliation from the popularity and following of Kurt and Nirvana.
2. Courtney had someone kill him. This is why she hired a PI but just wanted to know his location. Kurt being in rehab was probably in desperate need of a fix. Courtney knew this. Once she knew his location, most likely relayed to her by the nanny taking care of Frances, she gave the ok to have someone deliver heroin to Kurt when he was most vulnerable. He was given a dose high enough to ensure his death then shot.
3. Tom Grant did it. He killed him while he was searching the house. How did he miss the Greenhouse!? Isn't it right under the garage? The first thing his headlights would have shined upon when entering the property? He stole Kurt's credit card then tried to use it days later to make it appear as if Kurt was still alive so it could give him an alibi. Also, the greenhouse doors were locked from the outside.
I think kurt did not kill himself. I dont think courtney killed him physically BUT verbally. There could have been something courtney said to trigger kurt to actually succeed to at suicide. Tom Grant did it. That makes way more sense than Courtney. He was in Kurt's house and for some reason did not check the green house, that's a bit suspicious. Kurt's credit card was missing and Grant was in his house. The thing with the lawyer is irrelevant if it's true 'cos if Kurt wanted her out the will, she would have been out that day. Also that coincides with Kurt's intervention which ended in an argument. Tom Grant is a murderer and he needs to be bought to justice.

1. The electrician, not expecting Kurt to be home and never having met Kurt, thought he was an intruder, they had a confrontation, the electrician killed Kurt. The first thing his headlights would have shined upon when entering the property? There is a reason why polygraph results are not admissible in court, and that is because polygraph results are proven to be factually unreliable. Innocent people have failed polygraph exams, and guilty people have passed them, that is simply a fact. I've yet to see anything beyond speculation or dubious eye witness accounts that "prove" Courtney Love, or anyone else, had anything to do with Cobain's death.

I honestly have no say in this, really. How Kurt Cobain really died? No one will ever know. The only person who would've answered that question would be Kurt Cobain himself, but obviously he was the deceased victim, so no one will ever know how he really died. My point is that the case should be put to rest. It's been like what? 16 years now? Let it go. Let Kurt Cobain rest in peace.

@ErinIsPunk: Most crimes don't have eye witnesses and the court has to go on evidence. There is enough evidence of murder in this case to know what happened. Do you really think Kurt would have wanted his daughter who he loved to go through life believing he commited suicide when he didnt? There have been other investigations that were reopened decades later and murderers brought to justice.

@ErinIsPunk whoever killed him knows what happened the case should be reopened. how do you explain the fact that the shotgun shell was found to the left of his body when it should of been on his right its on the left as it would be if someone shot him, it comes out the right side of the shotgun.
also no figerprints on pen/gun and the way in which he died, if he was to kill himself i dont think he would of shot himself and the fact that he had 3 times the lethal dose wich probs woulda killed

Yeah he probably wanted her out of his life, and yeah she might have been worried that her music wouldn't sell as well, but she didn't kill him, it's all bullshit to sell books. If she'd have killed him, or had him killed, it would have been found out by now, the woman is an out of control drug addict, and it's not like see could have watched every CSI beforehand.

@darkstarwood but he was drunk. Rread how people can pass polygraph tests due to sedatives (xanax, valium , ativan, etc..) and alcohol. El duce was almost perpetually drunk. Being drunk calms the nerves and makes one able to lie without a polygraph detecting it. Read further and then really make a decision. He mentioned suicide way too many times and was an addict. He was a great guy but he probably did do it, maybe not.

i find it unlikely that the recoil brushed off the fingerprints, that theory is so stupid, if they brushed off on his shirt.... there would be other fingerprints from when he picked it up, and the part that was aginst his shirt would be covered by his fingers, there also would be fingerprints on the other side, there is no way the only fingerprints were where his fingers were when he was already dead.

Kurt's letter was about quiting the band, you only see he's band in that letter, the rest of it was wroten by someone else, he sure would write more things to his WIFE and DAUGTHER, he one's said that he was so obsesed with her that he would quit the band to be with her. This case should be open again.
