i used to use the cortland st. station a lot, went on the PATH from Journal Square to the WTC station and get on the 1,2,3 or A,C, or E trains to go wherever from there.
When you film on the subway train do you get butterflies in your stomach? What I mean by that is being scared that you were going to get caught by a conductor. Did you have butterflies in your stomach when you were shooting this video?
No, I was quite relaxed. Photography wasn't banned on the Subway in December 2006 (it was on the PATH and I'd get rapped for doing it now and again). I'm not sure if it's been banned on the Subway too now.
If you get lost listening to him, then I think you need to be given a course in English language understanding. Upon my 5th and a half year at NYCT, I was making announcements as he was. I was a conductor for NYCT for 5 1/2 years, and now I been with Metro North for almost 3 years and counting.I think he does a great job. The only thing is that he sounds too much like a robot. He needs to sound like he has personality. Since he got you to listen, he did his job WELL!
