  • Great organ stuff from HB.

  • This is the classic recording of this song of course, though I think the live version is even better ... it's crunchier and more dramatic.

Regardless, you can't deny the song is catchy as all heck even if the lyrics are totally ridiculous.

  • One of The Best tracks on Areosol Gray Machine

A Wish to Hear that on Concert

Playing that song as a Trio

  • the last teme: Firebrand is good to

  • I disagree. Firebrand is SUPERB too:-) It´s catchy like Necromancer but it´s got even more obscure sound and nice gloomy and grim lyrics. I wonder who´s singing chorus on Firebrand. That voice is almost mad:-) I love that.

  • It's Chris "Judge" Smith.

  • Cheers for uploading this song, it is definitely one of my favourites too. I'm still hoping to find a live version of this song some day..

  • OK - watch this space. There is another version on the album "The Box", recorded live at the BBC radio session 'Top Gear' on 18th November 1968, a radio show mostly hosted by John Peel, which I shall upload separately.
