The reason Africa is in such a awful state is because of western nations who have first enslaved, colonialised the land robbing it of all its resources! Then when these nations became independent western nations funded brutal dictatiors and gave them military assistance during the cold war plus this continued with the US's aim of getting richer from arms sales while not giving a shit about who was buying the weapons!
