Excellent presentation of a great little product. I have just purchased one, it is surprising stable, I find it will hold my iPod Touch 2g perfectly, even in its leather case. Use it mainly on my bedside table when the iPod is set to a clock/alarm app.

You can make one out of card if you don't mind it falling to bits very quickly and not having any rubber grips. And, I am sure you would want to pay the designer a license fee too.

I bought one of ebay and I think it is a great idea! I don't often need a stand for my iPhone but when I am eating and want to watch a movie, it comes in handy! Plus, I set my iPhone on it every night while it is charging, since I use the iPhone Alarm app (which shows the time in large numbers in landscape mode). Anyways, it isn't expensive at all. Get one, you will be surpised at how handy it really is! God bless :)

You have managed to miss both meanings of my response, and the fact that, two years after the launch of the iPhone, the Crabble remains the only smartphone stand that works whilst being small enough to fit in a billfold wallet. Only a fool would attribute the value of a product to its cost of production rather than its utility. Are you not familiar with the concepts of innovation, intellectual property and patents, or do you think designers should work for nothing?

I love these. I've got two and there very portable and very handy! Works great when your watching a movie and is easy to dock too. 5/5 star product especially for the price!

that's great, but i've never understood: what purpose does an iPhone stand serve, unless it's got built-in speakers? i've had iPhones for two or three years now and have never used a stand for anything except charging, and now that i have my 3G in a case and it no longer fits in the dock, i don't use one for that either. i just plug in the cable and lay the phone on the dresser.

I was traveling from london to glasgow and I was wanting to watch the series of blackadder i had on my iphone and eat my sandwich and drink my tea. I never had anything that would prop it up right and when the train wobbled it would fall. This is when situation this product is perfect for.

It's great. tiny, holds any iTouch or iPhone (I have both, 1st gen itouch, 2nd gen iphone). And cheap but sturdy. You should get one.
