i found will under the anti records myspace, the same company that produces and manages for tom waits. and he is just as amazing as waits but hes got a depth to his music. waits was revolutionary but never had this kind of soul and blues sound.

i saw him at modern life is war's farewell concert in marshalltown. crazy mosh pits and shit and out comes will. the croud was captivated, a hardcore punk concert and the croud was mesmerized. amazing. absolutely amazing live.

Will is the most genuine person I have ever met. It is hard to explain what his music does. I cried the first time I heard him. He's amazingly talented and amazingly humble.

He came back to southeast Iowa to do a couple shows, and he played at a cafe that I play at every week, so I got to hang out with him for a little bit last night. After listening to two sets, I had trouble explaining what I heard, and what I was feeling. The only way I could describe it was by pointing to my heart and saying I feel it here. This man is an artist's artist and a poet's poet.
