Is every visual parameter midi learnable? i.e. can you learn start and end for each sample/pad as a global function, so that when you press a pad on your controller it only affects the pressed or selected sample/pad start and end points...?
Ok, so there's Guru/Geist, Nerve, Spark, Maschine, not to mention Kong (in Reason), Drum racks (in Live), Groove agent 01 (Cubase), and the list goes on... So why this?
@1stplates Thanks for your feedback. We will have drag and drop from outside the browser in the next update in november. I still think people will use PULSE's browser to preview sounds easier, but either way people will have that choice. With regards to in-daw sampling, we are looking for a elegant way to do this. Limitations in all DAW's AU VST and RTAS technology makes this difficult to do smoothly. At the moment It is easiest to do a quick export from the daw & import the sound into PULSE.
@TayZonday I didn`t expect you replying . That`s cool . As for the NI adding a step sequencer to battery 4 i don`t think that would happen because it will compete with Maschine and they don`t want that . I would like to get in touch with you about some music if that`s posible . Best regards . Iulian , 2probeats

I Preordered this. Looks like what i want in a software production insturment.
Hope it performs well. Are there any other features that will be added?
Maybe add Midi Channel selection for Pad Banks?

Does this have midi learn

@picalo32 Yes absolutely! You can save as many learn presets you want if you have multiple controllers you like to use.

@2probeats Thanks!

@2probeats It most directly competes with Geist (formerly Guru) from FXpansion. Of course, Geist has a working 64-bit plugin and this doesn't.
Maybe if Native Instruments adds a step sequencer to Battery 4 then it will also have a similar product.
