cool vid, im at about the same level as you at riding, by just seeing your video. and i suggest you move up to a yz400f, its a high preformance racing 4-stroke. it hauls ass and has almost triple the power of yz125. i just moved from a yz125 to a yz400f and i couldn never be happier. plus its better for the enviroment, hehe. the yz400f was last made in 2003 or 2002, i cant remember, and they still run great.
i like 2 stroke and 4 i race 4 but every1 says their gay and they blow if their so gay how many pro riders u see still racing them reed bubba all on 4 strokes for a reason
no your stupid. The only reason they race 4 strokes is because there sponsors make them ride 4strokes. If you ask Reed or Bubba they say they want to race 2strokes more.
no therer not you idoit, they made it so the the 250 two strokes are racing agianst the 250f's cause the pro 250f's are just as fast as the 2 strokes now
all of you guys are retarded. my cousin has a kx 125, and every time we race i win with my crf250r , even when we switch bikes, my cuz beats me on my bike!!!!
wait whats that sound!!?? oh yeah its the sweet sound of a 2 stroke.... love it! why does everyone think they are a riding expert on here, its not a lame for stroke..... thats what a 2 stroke is supposed to sound like.
Did any of you morons ever see James Stewart or Mike Brown ride a 125 in person? 125cc two strokes make their best power with lots of RPM. They don't have large moving mass inside of the engine like a 250cc 4 stroke that helps them develope power and torque. To keep a 125 pulling hard you have to rev the snot out of it. Riding a gear higher would make it not pull as well out of corners. It is being ridden exactly the way it should be. This guy kicks ass!
Overgassing it???????? What are you little twerps talking about? Having to put a ring it it???? Man that is EXACTLY how you ride and rev a 125! A 125 that is properly ridden (wide open!) should have new rings in it every two hours! It is not like a 4 stroke. A Yamaha 125 has the best running, longest lasting, best breathing 125 ever made. You can't ever be "overgassing it"
Cale, really nice riding and camera work. These other guys are idiots.
hey tell me what kind of a camera system you got. my system sucks compared to yours man. i wanted one with a real wide lens angle man. let me know dude.
Motocross style bikes are virtually the same either being a 2 stroke or a four stroke. A 2 stroke can blow or seieze just as easily as a four stroke can by either maxxing out rpm's too high or hitting top speed for too long. On the other hand an enduro/trail bike can deffinatley take a beating. Four strokes are also alot more matainance then two strokes because of the air filter and engine oil.
I really dont have an opinion on which is more reliable, I mean if you follow the instructions on the owners manuals and do all the maitnence at the right time then you should be okay with either bike
4 strokes caust a ton more than 2 strokes, but 2 strokes you have to rebuild more often. It kinda evens out money wise, but i think 2 strokes are a ton more fun
a two stroke just have to tune idol, a four stroke wont need to tune if ridden right but there are many many things to tune. they cost so much to fix because one thing always takes out everything else and there is so much to them that is becomes expensive if you dont plan on racing then either get a four stroke and dont ride near the rev limiter or just get a 125, but if you have nobody to beat then just get a 125, 250f is not much better
ugh lucky, i love ktm. do u think i shud get a yz250f, or 125. ppl say u gotta replace piston rings and shit after like every 50hours. and then some ppl say if u blow up a 250f its gonna cost u like 1,500 to fix. and i dont got that kinda cash
yeah actually every four stroke blow up I have herd of has costed around $2,000 where as when i blew up my 125 cause of the stupid flaw it had it was only like $350 or something like that but yeah as long as you arent hard on it and on the rev limiter the whole time then the four stroke shouldent blow up anyway
man that 250f just blew passed the 125. im upgradin this month and i cant decide. i want a 250f but ppl say its a ton of work to dix, and alot of money
yeah I just got an 07 ktm 250sxf its totally sweet so far but I think I might just go back to there 125 next year cause I really am not feelin too much of a diff.

Plus the ground looks soft...that makes the bike rev out even more :) Looks good to me :P
mari01337 4 years ago
He's overgassing it, these bikes come with a built in rev limiter, and they are designed to be revved like that.
I ride a 125 and i know that the fastest way to ride is to rev the bike hard.
