i get 5-7 fps on a laptop

1 x 2.0ghz intel 2 core duo

2 x 667mhz ram 1gb

1 x 512mb NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX

i somtimes overclock my gpu to get around 8-9fps

but im upgrading my ram and cpu and i hope to get 12-15fps *THIS IS ALL ON VERY HIGH* 1920x1200

jeez, at least put it on medium to get it playable. :P or lower the resolution, and set it to medium. You'd get 30 fps in no time

lol i have been playing crysis sandbox for ages i made a tower of barrels and blew them up

it rarely crashes unless i try play in crisis. when i play it in sandbox it is at 30fps, if i try to blow themup somtimes i get a fatal crash error but when i use game booster it doesnt happen

I haven't tried sandbox mode yet. To tell you the truth, I've been so busy, I haven't played Crysis in a few months! :O. I need to finish it soon :P

I might only get back into it from those video's I've seen of big sandbox explosions :P

@forceblade33 zomg someone guy made like 10 responses to me about me saying 1200p saying its incorrect. i just said its shorter and esaier to say and everyone understands. but very high with 15-45 its pretty high these days laptops can run crysis like running minesweeper.

Well not really because once you put on AA settings, the game lags like crazy, i don't think there ever will be a laptop that can run crysis on max every setting. Not for 12 month anyway.

no my friend bought a alienware M17x a week ago and he got it all upgraded to the best CPU and GPU. he runs it on max easily he can even record better than this video! it gets 30fps recording on MAX now i didnt believe him till i saw it. shows how out dated laptops get. i have dual yet my next laptop will be a quad for sure :P (might be 3 years away tho)

i know u can get 30 FPS on crysis, but there is no laptop that can get it with AA on while at 1920p. Desktop only just managed it with 5970s.

I also have a M17x r2, with QM 820 cpu, 2x 4870s in cross fire, a 128 ssd drive and 8 gigs of 1333mhz. i could not play it with AA on and max every setting.

I also just got my Asus g73jh with 1920 P and max settings ( no AA) i got Frames Time (ms) Min Max Avg

The M17x is alot better 15-45

around 3-4, 6 max because I was recording onto a external hard drive so the fps didn't drop that much

I don't really know what it's equivalent to one but I hear it's in the 9000's card range so just times that by two.

I can run 1920 x 1080 very high with no AA with 10 fps on my 9600 gt and amd x2 4000+ (overclocked to 1.15).

Not much of an overclocking enthusiast btw, so don't rage, hahah.

Don't want to spend money on it, when the prices go down a bit I'll upgrade since I'm perfectly happy with my video card at the moment.

I don't generally play newer games, I'm sticking with competitive Counter Strike: Source and doing a lot of work in video editing so I'll need the CPU.
