  • This clip gives me goosebumps its so good- thans for uploading it!

I own all three macross plus soundtracks (1,2 and cream puff) but there's one Sharron Apple song in the film/ ova whch isnt on anyof the soundtracks! It's either the from the clip before or after this scene... Does anybody know what it is?!?!?

  • it's amazing how many people keep saying this is the whole song when it's not. this is the whole CLIP of the song that was used in Macross Plus, that part is correct.

***There is an actual song though that this is a clip of. (that came out before this movie).

  • @Ankhsith

People are saying this is the whole song becasue this is how it appears on the soundtrack (cd2) but its actually 1:21 (three seconds longer)....

  • @ironboardking 3 seconds is nothing, they are never correct when stating the length of a track on the sleave. If they were exact, they'd put the smpte timecode next to each track.... which would be boring. Great tune though.

  • Yoko Kanno is one of the greatest musical talents of our generation.

As for Sharon... well... heh. There are no words.

  • well all i seen the movies like this one and a few others and if it was not for them i would of never found anime

  • THANK YOU i was looking for this song, which can only be described as mystical

  • Nunca vou entender o porque dele ter pulado , alguêm me explique .

  • I had no idea this was her.... Fearsome is right!!! Definitely appropriate!!

  • this song is positively fearsome!

  • Geil!!

  • This is one of the most epic scenes ever. Also, yay Kanno nonsense languages wheee!

  • A Sai En

Ma ha shutai e Tuby e Tuby

e Tu shutei A no en Tuby

A sai, do mi no steikun

    Halish di zi e

    A di shuta dia

    La dia

    Zhan who

  • What lanuage is this anyway? Its beautiful

  • Yoko Kanno, the composer, frequently creates her own language in her music. Most of the music from Macross Plus, if not in a mixed and garbled English and Japanese is in her own language. She also did this a lot with Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop as well as Ghost in the Shell.

  • Ahh so. Its funny that you responded to my question just now. I just happen to be listening to her music right now.

  • Don't forget Escaflowne and Outlaw star. :)

  • @Bladestar7 it's Japanese

  • @HolySasquatchTurd

    It's not Japanese, yo.

  • can u put the whole song on here?

  • That is the whole song sexfreak.

  • r u sure? they dont usually put short songs in animes and this wasnt even a minute and a 1/2.

  • Very sure. I have the sound track. It's not so much a song than a chant or prayer.

  • oh.i like it as a song.thanks.

  • thats the entire song you sexfreak

  • leave em alone its just a name. They added a positive comment no need to rail on em

  • Lol I was playing with him =(

  • Short question

Was this the old SDF 1?

    Or was it SDF 2

  • SDF-1

It's the same ship (if you can call it that) as the one in Super Dimensional Fortress Macross.

  • Thanks buddy^^

  • Great song, always captivated me in the Macross Plus films.

  • yoko kanno....is my goddess of noise...simply...

  • Yeesh, I always thought of SHARON as some sorta robo-mecha goddess of destruction or something. This scene confirms that.

  • fantastic! love this track, and i never knew it was yoko kanno! how about that!!

  • holy crap that was yoko kanno as well?...i thot she only did the myung song voices i think its called lol

  • Yoko Kanno comosed all the Macross Plus soundtrack. You can verify her discography on wikipedia and Yoko Kanno Project.

  • Actually it is the Raiché Coutve Sisters who do the vocals.

  • isn't there some speculation as to whether Yoko Kanno sings some of the vocals too?

and yes - yoko kanno get's *everywhere* :D
