how do you drag outt the pattern length in Redrum, without having to chop up into A1 A2 A3 etc, justt to make the beat 4 bars, justt to add in some differentt patterns.
Hello there! I have Reason 5 and I have a doubt. When I select an instrument(Strings)and draw it on the piano roll, then the tone of the note sounds perfect (If it's a four bar note then it lasts four bars). When I play it on the MIDI keyboard it sounds the same. But when I record it with the MIDI keyboard and play it back then only a tap sound of that recorded tone which lasts for half a second is heard. How do I make the tone sound four bars? Could you please guide me on it.
@deftonesfan192 Thanks. Not sure what you mean about recording the Matrix sequencer. Do you want to automate pattern changes or send a Matrix pattern to a sequencer track? To automate pattern changes you can create a pattern lane by either CTRL + Right Clicking the Matrix seq track (On Mac - it may be just right click on PC, can't remember) and selecting "Create Pattern/Loop Lane" or (on Reason 5 anyway!) ALT clicking on the Matrix Pattern select buttons and an automation lane will be created.
@deftonesfan192 To send a Matrix sequencer pattern to a track (to maybe apply ReGroove quantise) hit CTRL+Right Click (Mac) and select "Copy Pattern to Track"

Cool but how do you straight up record the Matrix sequencer? Using any instrument running through it?...
