Ah shut up with the new flyable aircraft. They have too many flyable aircraft as it is, they should go into more detail and have two realistic flyable aircraft rather than 20 that feel and work exactly the same.

Please help me. I can't get this game to work with a mouse. I have remapped y and x axis to roll and pitch. and I have also adjusted the saturation down to 1 for both axises but I can't control the plane properly. Can anyone tell me what to do thanks.

It all has to do with licensing for aircraft names.

On most combat sims i've played like this i've seen "Lockheed Martin" somewhere in the game. Normally in the opening credits.

they can't just put f-16 or even Eurofighter for a simple reason.info is scarce.if EU and US has no problem sharing the engine and electronics characteristics with the russian developers then yes, they could simulate those planes.but without it you can't have those planes in the game since this is a simulation game, not arcade where you don't need engine limits etc.. all you need in an arcade is a lot of imagination.something russians don't like to do, since they r in simulation not arcade buz

Unlike most of you, I don't require any new aircraft, but better cloud system, more terrain geometry and MUCH, MUCH more realism, simulation model!

I really don't want for this game to become multi fighter arcade!

Getting so many fighters just for the sake of heaving them without taking great ammoun of time and knowledge to simulate them correctly is just wrong! I would rather have one fully simulated then many with poor sim. model.

This sim is hard... If you get it prepare to have to figure everything by yourself. Also get a HOTAS. I tried to play it with my Logitech Attack 3 but it's not enough I guess.

@doomspiril789 this is due to the Skidrow crack that is faulty and does not work... There is a Russian Crack that works for the English version and it works, Go to Warez-BB sign up and search for Flaming Cliffs 2 Crack and download the crack

Just a question ppl. They fixed the shadow bug on the FC2 when running this sim on nvidia cards??? That's an old as shit bug, but without any fix during all these years aparently.

add the eurofighter, f -22, su - 37, mig 35,f/a - 18 superhornet, mirage 2000,f - 16, mig 31, mig 25, even older mig 21's or f - 4's. they need new flyable aircrafts, atttract new players, even the latest super f - 15S's, cmon that would be great, even add in new NPC's such as the B - 2 etc

@minerofblood Well they could add them, but there is a question how much Lock On would be realistic! To make Lock on, they have to literally seat into cockpits of these planes to see how the control panel is working and ask someone to give you data's about performance! And I don't think that anyone would let you to seat into cockpit of F-22, Eurofighter or Su-35, and give you a top classified data's!

@LazicBrano oh, please. They are a team of flight sim developers, they can do it. I've known people that created cockpits from photos and nothing else. They just knew enough about aviation to do it.

The problem is that Eagle Dynamics is Russian so I doubt they will bother adding "western" planes.

And considering that most of new aircraft's has a "glass cockpit's" there is no way to know how the data's are displayed on them until they switch them on! And tell me how they can know HUD operating modes just from photo!? They could add F/A-18 or F-16 but, Eurofighter, Su-35, F-22...NOW WAY!

It was too expansive and too big only for doing the same job as the AIM7 or AIM120, but it exceeds them both in terms of speed and range (and weight too, that's why only the tomcat was able to use them).

Lock On FC 2 is standalone. You can fly with mig29 A/S su27 su33 su25/T F15C A10 and you can connect it with dcs black shark and fly with ka50.

@Justaguyinnc That's the lamest product "protection" I ever seen, FC2 is a stand alone, if someone else just starts playing Lock On now (never played before) from the FC2 then he need to buy LOMAC to install the product that he already payed for. Lame indeed. Anyway, what I just replied to you in the previous comment is that FC2 doesn't need LOMAC to run, just for the install. I would be apreciated if you know about the shadow bug on LOMAC on nvidia cards and if it continues on FC2. Thanks btw

@Addicted4Flying you can download lomac for free m8 like the rest of the games because it doesnt require any activation codes :D so it hacked and downloadable for free.. only FC2 requires activation code so you need to pay for it
