In 2006 our ad agency was a not as VW savvy as it is today. But we knew they meant fuel, didn't we? Also, in that model year we were probably looking at 700 plus miles per tank full on the highway. Averaging 55-60 mph. The 2009 Clean Diesel just won a Guinness Book record for averaging 58 miles per gallon over 9400+ miles. That would be thats 841 miles per tank full. The 2006 TDI models do get a little better miles per gallon. Thanks for the reply.
700 miles on a tank of gas, HA try a call to a tow truck if you fill the tank with gas. But seriously 600 miles on a tank of diesel is more on par with the fuel economy the 2006 TDI gets.
