Yes, fastest resolve around macroing a huge amount of buildings and is totally unrelated to low mineral play. A lot of deepnessfrom the game is taken away and in my opinion, yea a lot of strategy is removed. There is probably a few new one, but yes, only a few.
"a few new ones" means loading 5 shuttles with 10 reavers and dropping them all into the opponents base...
besides that, nukerushes vs toss (with EMP) are little more common in fastest
else its just some stupid massing of low tier units while some ally is teching to high tier units... yeah, fastest takes rly most of the depth out of the game

Because of the minimum effort it requires. But there's more to cannon rushing than just building cannons. You need to know good positions for you pylon, understand the risk of bad placement, and if it fails, your fucked. It's not a very viable strat but it WORKS and that's all that matters.
Anyway, I don't get the big prejudice towards noobs. I SUCK at this game, and am tormented for it. But I don't hack. I don't cheat. I'm not a bad loser. I'm just not good. I still enjoy the game. fastest maps have different strats than normal maps... example.. RICH ZERG lol
also, dont need to expo
but cause of that, fast tech
so ull reach late game faster
so in the end....it all comes down to the player, and thats starcraft!
