@goontersme I just did an experiment, and yes, you can use css transforms on embedded flash elements within the browser, at least in Safari 4. I do not know if Mozilla browsers permit this, nor if it would work in Internet Explorer (which doesn't support css transforms at all, and depends on a workaround technique). The flash remains fully interactive and functional in Safari 4.
Excellent work and it looks truly promising. There will be a time, Flash will no longer be required to create things like this, as this video already shows. Native support for advanced (real-time) graphics available on any platform and any browser, without requirement of 3rd party plugins.
From my understanding, it's meant as an engine techdemo, and developers can take the engine and make a more exciting game out of it themselves. Walking around in a premade world is maybe fun for 3 minutes, but think about all the possibilities when you can make a real game on top of this.
