I cant get any video though using Videoglide only audio, can you help?

I would search the reason from the video cable, adapter and that video device from where You are capturing video. What kind of video device You have? If it is a game console, so check from the game console settings that You are using composite (SD) and not High Definition (HD) - You can't get out both HD and SD at the same time.

@EasycapExpertti I have a tv box and also a Wii, Have tried all settings on both Wii and TV box, tried different cables and still no video.

It is possible that the video chip is defective....

It is also possible that there is some file corrupted in VideoGlide during installation and reinstalling may help. Test again with a normal DVD player if You have one, because it is easiest device to get work because You need not make any changes to the sending device settings and there is in the back side that yellow video output composite connector and so You need only 1 composite cable between DVD player and EasyCap.

@EasycapExpertti Tried DVD player, tried with differnent cables. Still only audio. Tried with Windows 7 with Pararells Desktop but only video, so there is nothing wrong with the video.

Unzip and reinstall VideoGlide if there is some file corrupted and check also that You are using the latest version 1.4.6.

Check also from Windows 7's Device Manager's Sound, video and game controllers if there is this video driver "USB 2861 Device" - because I want to know that there is really the right Empia chipset inside the main unit.

@EasycapExpertti Finally find out the reason! For some weird reason, version 1.4.6 does not work with Snow Leopard. 1.4.0 needs to be installed. Unfortunately Videoglide wont let you install an earlier version so I had to format my Mac Mini. After re-installing 1.4.0 it worked! I do now unfortunatley have a slight problem at the moment. With recording, there is a very very slight sound interference as if my subwoofer had been turned up high, is there a cause for this?

I know that version 1.4.6 supports Snow Leopard - and all versions after version 1.4.2 supports fully Mac OS 10.6.x. I presume Your version 1.4.6 has corrupted either when You unzip it or when You installed it. The installer of 1.4.1 or older doesn't support Mac OS 10.6.x.

It is possible that Your subwoofer is a cause of that bad sound.

I have render it to HD size with iMovie by saving it with Quick Time Movie format and using size 1280x720px.

It is VERY important that You hook first EasyCap into USB port and until after that start VideoGlide - Then click on Digitizer/VideoGlide. Besides that be sure that You are using EasyCap model DC60+ which have inside Empia 2861 chipset.

You can not use Ulead Video Studio 11 if You do not have a license key.

You do not have any CD if You just install drivers from my file and then use free Deput 1.47 or VirtualDub for capturing vids.

Make it sure that You try to install right drivers for Your Easycap and if You have 64bit OS, so do not try to install 32bit drivers for it (STK1160).

You van capture vids with free Deput 1.47 or VirtualDub.

i have recorded with the easycap on my laptop and it works fine and now i want to revcord on my pc but whenerv i try and record it says the file is corrupted and unuseable and it will be automatically deleted. can you tell me what i could do to make it work? ive tried turning off my computer but that doesnt help. thnx

Yes - EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B works with Mac OS 10.3.9 or later with VideoGlide and even the newest OS 10.6.X works now with the newest version of VideoGlide 1.4.2.

Beware license sellers in the internet, because they are selling illegal copies of that license key and EchoFX have made a brilliant checking system for that and if illegal key detects it lock that software and You cannot install a genuine key until after reinstall the whole OS

I can send that license key via email and it will turn that demo version to the full version.

plzzzzz help i open my easycap to record my ps3 and i put the settings as (DVD NTSC 740x480) wen i record it says the file created is corrupted and unusable this will be automatically be deleted? i have no clue on how to fix this plz help me so ic an start recording again and also the screen is black??

You can not capture vids with quicktime pro, because there is not any drivers for Empia 2861 chipset inside it as like is inside VideoGlide.

So then how can you use iMovie, I am not an apple genius, but if the drivers are available for iMovie, there probably out there for Quicktime

There is not any drivers for EasyCap in iMovie. You must use VideoGlide for capturing vids and then You can edit them with iMovie. An other program where is these Empia drivers inside is Arcsoft Impression, but is double more expensive than VideoGlide. I have sold VideoGlide lisence keys with EasyCap or EzCap with cheap price 18,90USD.

EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B or EzCAP116 with VideoGlide license key is still cheaper than Dazzle for Mac and the quality of Video and Audio is awesome - look at some my VideoGlide sample vids in my Youtube channel, which I have edited with iMovie to HD-size.

Sorry, I use professional video editing suites, Final Cut Studio. My Dazzle still has better quality.. I can record straight into Cinema Tools, Edit Audio in Sound Track Pro, Video in Final Cut Pro...

I do things Far MORE Professional then iMovie can handle..

Of course Final Cut Studio is better than iMovie if we talking about rendering vids. But there is not big diffrences between quality of vid and audio between Dazzle and DC60+ and EcCAP116 with that Empia 2861 chipset - many thinks that Empia 2861 produce even better video than Dazzle. Basic EasyCaps have poor Philips chipset and that is not so good.

Well no I need to us e FCS to produce my videos, A 25$ Video Card, THAT ISNT COMPATIBLE, isn't going to work out.... I am goin gto end up buyng something HD and wireless..

Is there any demo version to FCS? Can You send to me any link? - I got last week EzCAP128 Only for Mac and it have drivers for Mac that might works straight with FCS. I would be nice to test it.

I purchaced FCS 2 and video capturing works straight very well with EzCAP128 - quality is brilliant. But audio is still missing - Can You advice where I can take in use that EzCAP's USB audio driver in FCS?

I am close now - I found the place whare to put these USB Audio Drivers. Still some problems - capturing with both video and audio doesn't work, but both works if I capture them separately. I supposed that I must change some settings a little bit.

I HAVE MADE IT - my first perfect vid with Final Cut Pro 6 and EzCAP128 is ready. I found out that my Macbook is not powerful enough for the best quality settings, so I must drop down resolution and also audio rate. Now I'm 100% sure that EzCAP128 drivers are compatible with FCP 6. I will put a sample vid to my Youtube page ASAP.

Quicktime Pro will be the next project - I'll try it ASAP. iMovie can't find these EzCAP128 drivers - there is not any place to enable these drivers. But I bet that QuickTime Pro have that kind of place.

I haven't get time to get yet that Quicktime Pro, but I have found out that if You have installed VideoGlide in Your Mac, so You can use that VideoGlide driver with EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and EzCAP116 with Final Cut Pro 6 and capture vids straight to Final Cut Pro 6. Besides that I have found out that inside Dazzle for Mac is the same Empia 28XX chipset than inside EasyCap DC60+ and EzCAP116 - so there can not be big diffrences with quality of video and audio.

Share/Upload Quicktime and there You must choose the right size. By the way I download in this morning a new OS 10.5.7 to my Macbook and it seems to be work very well with EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and VideoGlide.
