  • WOW amazing =D i wish i could play like that

  • I am learning this piece of music. Awesome job!!!!

  • @stickstam me too! it's simple, but all is in the interpretation, in the legato, the "attacks" on each 3 or 5, in each little light phrase. i really enjoy perfectioning it even though it is not that of a challenge for the fingering. i hope you'll enjoy this chopin's waltz!

  • i think of howl's moving castle when I listen to this.

  • @CowHoofOnAHotPlate omfg i love howl!

screw the witch of the waste!

  • @CowHoofOnAHotPlate :D I love Howl's moving castle. It does kinda remind me of that...

  • beautiful piano song

  • I love how people ruin the piece by playing it too fast when it actually sounds worse that way. You did a great job though.

  • Love love love this!!! :) I hope I can play this song this well someday!!! I am currently working on it. :D

  • I really like this interpretation.

Minor mistake (swallowed gracenote at 1.34/35) but it doesnt matter. Overall the delivered emotion is beautiful. 4.5/5 Stars!!!!

  • Chopin is always Regal

  • Polish soul, polish proud...Chopin

  • classical pieces are measured by their hardness but Chopin pieces are measured by emotions we inhale.

  • Szopen :D

  • good, the right hand is much strong than the accompainment I think that you can play more soft the left hand but anyway, good performance

  • dammmmmn. i am so fuuuckking jealous. i would probably get laid every single day if I played as good as you

  • @isadoncea See, now this is a self serving comment that is YouTube relevant.

  • Among the first songs of which I absolutely fell in love, upon my initial foray into classical music. Excellent rendition!

  • @rusH1023 Please, people, refer to this type of composition as a "piece" [of music]. "Song" insinuates a composition that sets words to music.

  • @YayforComments

I'll refer to it as I please. Overweight, bored, comment police need not pay attention.

  • @rusH1023Yes, obviously you'll refer to it as you please (doesn't everyone?). You'll also continue to relegate yourself to a category of people that prefer not to seem educated. This is, however, perfectly fine.... only a small percentage of the world will know why you're a dumb-ass.

  • @YayforComments

Oooo, relegate. How long did your internet research take to stumble on that gem? Also, YouTube comment police aren't held in highest esteem with regard to "categories of people". Thanks for trying, though.

  • I REALLY wish I could play this Waltz as beautiful as you do . MAGNIFIQUE!

  • Asian muffins ^_^

  • Simplemente Chopin...

  • @chopin4brier Who are you telling? We don't know you.

  • I have to play this for my exam ! **

  • @thiscrazymind Who are you telling? We don't know you.

  • @YayforComments I just commented the video... I didn't know that that's a problem for you. And "we" don't know you neither.

  • this is by far, the best vertion of this walts in A minor, perfect tempo, perfect interpretation!, you put lots of feeling, I liked that. is Chopin your favorite composer? great job! =D

  • "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is a ripoff of Chopin.

  • I was looking for another waltz in A minor, but I remember this piece! I think it was me or my younger sister that played this when I was around 9 or so...

  • if u like that go to my video i play that same song go to the last song go three fourths of the vid heres the name Me playing piano( kulhua Sonatina op 55 vivace) ( Pink starer contemporary) ( Waltz Chopin)

  • i love this song!!

I'm playing it now and it's really easy =)

    and wonderful to listen =)

  • i'm playing this number now, its a beautiful number, and a little faster is nice! but it is also quite nice, but it's what you think.

  • woah awesome

  • I swear everything Chopin composed is just perfect. Such beautiful music. This is the first time I hear this piece. I'm definitely looking for the sheet music! :)

  • Currently playing this piece, and enjoying it!

I love it slower better< I always slow it down! :P

  • Chopin = Life

  • whoever didn't like this version and keep saying its too slow or whatever are just not listening to.. LONG LIVE CUBUSDK!! =D

  • @vdumbadze yes i like this slower version - its just more beautiful slower

  • @shishirth

I agree with you.... that's chopin, in alegretto version doesn't have that emotion that is the trade mark of chopin. the most beautiful composition, and really easy to play. beautiful ....

  • @dJoooleShirbe Yes, well put. Chopin played with emotion always sounds more authentic, and played slower this waltz is much more touching...

  • beautiful!! just...insanely beautiful!!

  • Really good!

  • Mi-a placut foarte mult. Melodia este gingasa si coplesitoare.

  • so... what sheet music do the great pianists of youtube prefer for this

henle or schirmer (or whatever else)

  • i have seen many people perform this song but yours is very nice and slowly. It makes me enjoy listening so so much. Thank you.

  • I've play this before in grade 6 pieces...

  • oh fab

  • Finished learning this song. ^^ I loved it so much. It's such a nice, simple, but pretty melody.

  • Beatifully played though!!!!!!! :D

  • Especially when he got to the accidentals part up high...

  • Most of you probably dont know that its bad to "Bang" on the piano meaning you push down so hard its gets a little ringing sound or is played not sinking into the keys but just pushing down automaticly with all of your strength.... That happened sometimes.

  • I heard this waltz some time ago, performed by you cubusdk, and I fall in love with it....i found sheets on net and star playing....amzing :)))))).......simply adore Chopin,he's my favorit ♥

  • I'm only stunning about this song

  • I LOVE YOU,MY BYAYYBYYYYY.MY BAYBYLOLL:HANAW.

  • I can truly say, this song and your playing are simply amazing.

  • amazing

  • For anyone who's looking for this piece.... And just about any piece that's free domain... Go to: IMSLP (dot) com and go to the Petrucci Library. It just blows me away that there are so many sights trying to charge you for classical music that falls under free domain, and you can get just about ANY piece on this site for free.

  • @HAMayoral Oh right, and fine playing matey! A wee bit slower than I play it, but that's a great way to savor it properly.

  • Simply wrong......Im sorry but this is a Waltz.....try to accent the first beat

  • @GooDVibeZz it sounds beauteful!!!

  • @GooDVibeZz He does accent the first beat... He just accents all the others! Its a little bangy in some spots.

  • i love the effect and amazing playing :)

  • Without a doubt, this is by far the best version of this piece on the internet today! I absolutely loved it! Perfect in every single way!!!! Well done!

  • excellent tempo, great performance 5 star

  • 16 are Brahms.

  • thats a very nice sounding piano you have there.... thumbs up. i like it!

  • This is a really pretty song. I played this last year, but I wasn't nearly as good as you.

  • Simplity at its best! I can listen this beauty th whole day and not get bored.

  • You played it so beautifully. I am studying this piece now. I got a lot of inspiration from you.

  • Impressive :) Very well played. This is an amazing waltz. I'm learning it too at the moment, learnt Nocturne 20 in C# Minor and now I'm working on this :)

Too bad this piece isn't played more often.

  • Superb si valsul si interpretarea!

  • I can't remember where I've heard of this,,, somebody tell me, I've heard it someWHERE!!!!!! like a show, or movie, I dunno, I want to learn this but the fact is bugging me, I can't remember where I heard this!!!!!

  • @VlogNationXD It was in Milo and Otis, is that what you're thinking of?

  • @VlogNationXD the pianist

  • This is such a beautiful and amazing piece, and you play it so well.

  • great piece! im learning this and i find that listening to recordings helps me learn it better.

  • What a great performance! I am planning to learn this soon. :-)

  • The hall-ish effect makes it sound so floaty, ambient, and even eerie. Overall it's worth listening to more than once.

  • Ive been listneign to this song ( other versions sound whack!)

for about 5 motnhs everyday..for my twin sons!

  • blew my mind away...

    so beautiful... *sigh*

  • A little story about this song: At the Potsdam Conference at the end of WWII, Harry Truman requested this song from the pianist at a party. The pianist, a young army sergeant named Eugene List, admitted that he did not know the song but would be happy to play it if he was given music and someone to turn the pages for him. Since no one else knew music well enough to know when to the turn the pages, Truman himself volunteered, turning the sergeant's music pages as Churchill and Stalin watched.

  • @bombshoo

But it only has two pages. So why turning pages? :-)

  • @thrill4ouse

    It has three pages!!!

  • @EssaTeresa

I have the whole piece written in two pages out of a learning book with different chopin pieces. May there are different "versions" according to the pages. Not important at all.

  • I should get one of those electic pianos. I love the deep base. Deeper than my 7' grand. It sounds so crisp and beautiful. And you play beautifully also.
