  • i dont like ur voice, but good tutorial..

  • thx man that helped even though i dont have a metronome i learned this Zepplin firr that has 4 beats so i just count to 4 in my head then play the fret.

    moron

  • u always be a n00b 4 me... no matter how u call me :)

  • Hey thanx for making this :)

  • nice lesson, will get myself a metronome asap :)

  • thnx man good lesson, finally someone who doesnt show off his "awesome speed" while trying to learn you something

  • Thanks for this lesson. I've been trying to make the switch from economy picking to strict alternate picking, but it seems like I try to play too fast and start to get sloppy, so I don't get anywhere. I'll try using a metronome and playing without distortion like you suggested. Thanks again! :)

  • i have a question. is it wrong for me to rest my pinky on the guitar below the 1st string while i alternate pick? thanks for the awesome lesson though!

  • absolutly not! Many great players rest their pinky on the guitar. Bottom line, you should play the way you are most comfortable playing. If it's easier for you to rest your pinky than to not rest your pinky, then rest away!

  • asome picking lesson man, most of the people shred the guitar on thier videos and go way to fast for beginners so thanks for slowin it down

  • No prob. The most important thing when practicing is to SLOW DOWN. play at a tempo when you can play every not clean and hear them clearly. Don't practice with your distortion on! Thanks for stopping by and check out me blog (see description) for more free lessons!

  • see description for more info!
