@80sMetalForever If you had one of those old baud modems you probably could have downloaded a porn image from somewhere... just that it would take many minutes for it to show up on the screen, and you would have had to know what number to dial. The commercial for Windows 1.0 shows the guy downloading the Ferrari from Miami Vice onto the very first MS Paint.
I own a C16, a C116 (both with a 32k memory expansion) and the Plus 4 (and a few other old machines). The Plus 4 was a great machine and I loved the machine back in the 80s, this was next to my dads IBM PC my first computer 25 years ago. And still like all the 264 series models.
well it is. its still in the plastic. i bought it for thigs like business managing and stuff bet i got a second one free in a contest so i never opened that one
well for gaming purposes definitely the commodore 64. however the 64 was basically useless for anything else. the plus 4 played games, and it could manage business stuff. so overall i preffered the plus 4.
oh.. did u have a modem with this? i wasn't born yet when most of my uploaded commercials like this one aired, but i'm guessing nothing like the world wide web... maybe you were able to submit your data to your bank or something
there worth a pretty penny if it's all complete and working.Just take a look on Ebay, there going for some serious money nowdays because there classic retro machines
now it is expensive,it has a quad core i7 cpu like mac mini and it will cost more 200 dollars...

oh, so you used one - now tell me was this a good computer that should have sold better or did you wish you had the original commodore 64?
