  • some peopel r such assholes. great playin and great sounding amp dude

  • @hirskdubbi You are right on the money as far as I am concerned. And to rag on a persons ability, and asking them to bow down and go to your room - Wow! pretty cheezy. Thanks for listnening and making the nice comment. I have encountered this kid before and it is just kinda bizzare that someone wants to control the amp world. If you want to do that - write a check and own them.

  • Learn to play Fuck nuts, Then come to me and say sorry for modding my original Marshall Sir ,I state that it was really your shitty playing that was revealed in the stock Marshall.

If you want to "cover up" bad playing get a Digitch RP50 and go to your room.

  • @rbehm Geez - its getting ugly early on the comments. Maybe he wants and or is cool with the amp? Let him do his thing.......

  • My god this amp sounds good.

    Were you using a Strat?

  • @ByrdWhiteMovie Yes - it is a 99.00 chinese strat - It just played great and i figured for 100 bucks "why not".....I put a new bridge and block, new pickups TEX MEX, to liven up the warmth of the rosewood neck, and D'Adarrio 10s. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I am having a custom strat built now and I will repost another clip of this amp when I get that guitar.

  • Here's a novel idea.......... let the guy do what he wants to his own equipment! I personally wouldn't do it, but IT'S NOT MINE! Who gives a shit? It's not like if he decides not to mod the thing, you will all of a sudden be able to buy it from him....... People need to grow up.....

  • @hotrodchevy5117 AMEN to your nice - common sense approach! THANKS.

  • This is called BUTCHERING, you just DON'T mod a old marshall, it's history, it's the "sound" that people die for now a days in a amp, but people like you just ruin it for everyone. There are only SO many vintage marshalls out there, go buy a fender or a not so vintage amp like this and mod it. Looks ugly with all those things on the front too, just completely turned off by these mods and stuff people do to such amps that DON'T need mods. Get a fender or something if your going to mod an amp.

  • @rbehm its me you fuckhead......you and I have been through this before.........I do what I want to my amps, & you can do whatever you want to yours. This amp is not available to you nor will it ever be so FU. Arent you that little fuck from Canada that goes onto to all the modded Marsalls and act like a purist - almost like your opinion matters - suck my asshole kid, and dont tell me what the fuck to do - FU you little fuck FUCK YOU!!!!!!

  • @longotown I'm 18, and you are acting like a child, i'm stating a opinion, a fact ALOT of guys on the marshall forum don't like old marshalls being modded and i happen to be one of them. The amp sounds good and all, I'm clearly not looking to buy your amp, so calm down. I'm just speaking my opinion and other peoples opinion on the marshall forum. Do what you want to your amps, correct, I just like my old marshalls stocked, and i don't mind what you did to your amp, sounds great. cheers.

  • @longotown And yes, i'm from canada, thanks for pointing that out. Opinion is a OPINION, it doesn't matter, your amp sounds good, really does, but hey, for me, stock and loud is the best :) and of course, thats in my opinion. calm down, crank your marshall, enjoy it. cheers

  • @longotown And reason why i'm back to this, i didn't realize it was you, not saying i go around being "pure" about Marshalls, to me, it is butchering, not newer marshalls, but the old ones, it's sad, but i guess putting them to stock wouldnt be a problem

  • @rbehm get therapy

  • @hirskdubbi THANK YOU!

  • @longotown

    /watch?v=AGy0pPllHVQ&feature=share

  • @hirskdubbi Stop fucking with Marshalls, play them how there suppost to be played. other wise buy a line 6 and mod the fuck out of it :) I'd rather get a job being a therapist and help cure idiots who fuck with marshalls by modding them, jim made marshalls for loudness, a PA system, if you don't want that loudness, get a modern Marshall amplifier. Would you put EMG pickups on a 1958 Lespaul? no i didn't fucking think so :)

  • @rbehm whoa whoa wait fuzznuts! play them how theyre supposed to be played? sorry i dont have that manual,so tell me how r they supposed to be played? and says who? ive heard a ton of marshall heads that sounded like shit the way they came, they absolutely had to be modded to be of any use. These r improvements made to a stock amp.Just like you mod a car or anything you want to improve on.Just what is ur problem? i suppose you shouldnt mod a classic les paul if it plays like shit either huh? jeez

  • @hirskdubbi You dumb? you play em loud and stock. if you want to save your amp and get the same sound, get a powerbreak or attinuator. You can mod a car sure, but not a old vintage chevy or something, you just leave them as be. And you would take P.A.Fs out of a 1958 les paul?, behond stupid. If a les paul plays like shit, you buy a different les paul, if its a nice amp or guitar that you bought because you like the sound of it, you buy it for the reason you like it, why change that?..

  • @rbehm btw no i wouldnt put an EMG in a 58 les because i hate the sound of emg's. Would i put a frankenstein humbucker in that bad boy? absolutely

  • @hirskdubbi I'm saying, why would you change something that was meant to be. you buy a nice les paul because its nice, you dont change it.

  • @rbehm jim marshall couldnt wait to cut costs when he was freed from his distribution deal in the 80's and the end result was a cheaper made marshall that sounded like shit. So seriously, unless youre lucky enough to get one that sounds real good stock, its best to mod them and bring them to their full potential

  • @hirskdubbi Wrong again dick breath. Rose-Morris was way overpricing to dealers,Marshall actually gave more for less once the Rose-Morriss contract expired ,if a Marshall sounds like shit it is because you are "trying" to play it , get a Line 6 and mod it you may sound better,,,you see you cant hide bad playing through a stock Marshall that's why you want to change it...NOOOOOOOOOOOO change your playing then come back and say sorry to all of us for being an Idiot,

  • @rbehm u need to read up on your marshall history fuzznuts, now go away and leave the adults to themselves. now get back on the corner and gargle cock for pennies, you fuckin little girl

  • @rbehm Calm down. They'll always be plenty of mint Vintage Marshalls kept stock and used in recording studios all over the world. You ever built or modded your own amps? The Marshall 1959 / 1987 is such a simple circuit, there's no 'magic', the things were soldered together by factory workers who just wanted to finish work and go to the pub. If you're so angry at Marshall Modders, then take it out on the current mainstream amp builders who aren't delivering the sounds we want in new amps.

  • @odgeUK THANKS, and the best point made!!!!

  • @odgeUK I have built my own my own amp from scratch thank you, and built it into a 1967 spec marshall. it sounds like a really old marshall, loud through the full stack, i have a attinuator i run it through if i want abit of quiet practice, even then it's still loud, which i love, I'm talking about old vintage marshalls, im not freaking out or being uncalm about this reissue Marshall, but even then, they build them a certain way. I'm not angry at anything,1/2

  • @odgeUK They build amps, it's there passion and they build them the way jim marshall wants them built, there not line6. There are new amps out there, and buying a old marshall, but not having the talent, is not magic, but if you play it right, work WITH the amp and create the magic, marshalls are funny in that way, jimi hendrix had tons on the road, but ended up pointing out ones he felt were best. not all them are the best, so why not just buy the amp that is and have the one that is rightforyo

  • @odgeUK There are Jmps in the studios and stuff, i've bought one that was used in a studio, even then it was modded by this "nickleback" band. now they use orange or mesa, which they should have done in the first place. There is magic in each and every marshall, you just have to have the right playing and genre of music to have it be magic. I'll play any new reissue plexi marshall, they have that sound. If i wasn't happy with it, i wouldn't buy it in the fist place, and no, i'm not even madatall

  • @odgeUK I worked here and there after my built, having the closest sound to a real 1967 Marshall i had leant from a friend of mine, same with a 1973 Marshall 50 watt metal panel, i compare mine, i changed a few things to make it sound like the real thing, A white 1967 spec Amp, Marshall styled box with a gold Marshall logo, mm. I do know my marshalls and know how they work and see how they are built.

  • You should post a good picture of the inside of amp,All this about Jose's mods.I have the shematics for his PPMV mod,It is a nice clean tone,

  • Why this? if you want a fender, Sounds ok but not what I want from a marshall Phase 90 reverb

  • @MrSandydillon WHY? because its what "I" want. I have a Fender and have posted it clean as well. To me, they are two totally diffent tones. I just added the phase at the end for a little color, and there is no reverb on this clip - but yes delay is added by a Boss DD5. This is just my personal preference.

Fender clean is beautiful I agree, but it lack the throaty tone than the Marshall provided. Both GREAT - just depends what you want at the time. Thanks...

  • Beautiful tone, any chance of getting a schematic for this amp? I build marshall clones but haven't been able to get that sparkle........Thanks Bill

  • @wildhogdog THANKS BILL!! This mod was done by the guy who did the early work for Eddie Van Halen, I had a friend who got me in - took forever. I think he has since passed away (bummer). I dont have any sort of paperwork other than an old handrwitten receipt. I never could figure the amp out when I got it back so I used it as a slave only.....I have since taken the time to figure it out a bit, and glad that i did - I love it now! Sorry that I have no sort of schematic........

  • Sweet amp man.

  • @paultrombetta Thanks brutha......Hope all is well for you!

  • @paultrombetta Thanks brutha......Hope all is well for you! Dig the CHIME daddy - its an old fender blue label speaker from and old Montreaux Amp that I blew up years ago at a Niles Jam.

  • That is total Jimmy clean tone! It's right from Little Wing, but not as thin.

  • @vdoflyr Thanks bud - glad you had a chance to listen. I like the tone to sound more "woody" than bright. The nech pick pick-up sounds really rich/organic and the maple neck on Jeramoshes axe helps with the spank.

  • Thanks man - I cant believe I didn't sell this baby after all these years - the amp just sat for 17 years or so and now I love it again.

  • beautiful
