    Eu o amarei para sempre!!!!

  • nice camera work

  • I can't believe he died 20 years ago - life just seems to race by - he is sadly missed.

  • I've been there! I almost peed myself when I found Michael's gravesite!

  • He left us far too soon.

    God bless Michael Landon.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Sad watching this after I just watched his last interview on Carson. I also had cancer (kidney) and I was told I was cancer free now. I know what it's like to have the wrong attitude thinking you're going to die. He was so brave looking and it's a shame.

  • Oh Michael....

  • Dios te guarde amigo.. tu eres mi ejemplo.. te doy las gracias por que nos mostraste un programa que hoy en dia... es de ciencia ficcion..

  • Why do all the good people have to die?!

  • R.I.P. Michael Landon!! Beautiful gravesite!! Me & my hubby Robby wish to go and visit his gravesite one day!! we love u since watching Little House On The Prairie!! We love your smiling face especially when u played Charles Ingalls!! u were a angel on earth & now your a angel in heaven!!

  • You're like a couple of faggot vultures taking some photos of a carcass while planning a night on the town. How fucking heartless can you be.

  • if he was a vegan he would be here!

  • Its neat they're buried near each other.Thats neat he was born on Halloween, two others in my family were too.

  • Its neat they're buried near each other.

  • Was he buried in a telephone box?

  • @luddenham That has to be one of the most stupid-dumbest comments I've read so far..have some respect for Mr. Landon..

  • You are one dangerous idiot with a camera..... give it to your wife and go home..

  • ohhh Little Joe :'(

  • Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.

  • Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, don't remember me at all.

  • I miss him so much. Can you leave anything there, looks like that is all inside a

window door probably from the family. How sad. I loved Bonanza.

  • Too bad you didn't know how to run a recorder

  • Hey, that door has no mail slot.

  • Looks like a door to enter a 7-11; either that or a marble-lined phone booth.

  • i miss you Dad.....but you are an angel forever......

  • gostaria de saber do que michael Landon faleceu

  • i am a hugh Michael Landon fan.r.i.p Michael.

  • I read a story about Michael. They say he was really into giving to Charities. They say that more of his estate went to charities when he died then what went to his family.

  • 19 years and 7 days ago he died. He is great pa to his 7 children. I'd like visit his gravesite someday.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this.

    THANK YOU, from Chile,.

  • When you read the history of Michael Landon, you've got to respect him for thing other than being an actor. He kept his show on a family level despite pressure from networks to make it more violent. Very family oriented. I believe he was actually jewish, but used the christian values in his show in keeping with the time it was based on, and doing so,, honoured both the religion, the time, the people, and his own values.

  • @JuanMacready Are you serious? What kind of a person are you? To use a vulgar comment, and negative comments about a deceased person?

  • Good. One less lesser Landon.

  • You see this man was loved and is loved still, his family showed they really cared for him his grave is full of the love they have for him. His grave is not like the other graves all abandon. Thank you for posting it. I loved Mr. Landon he was a great actor.

  • Was Michael Landon cremated ???

  • makes me miss him so much! i loved him on bonanza <3 may he always be in our hearts ♥

  • "La petite maison dans la prairie" et "les routes du Paradis", c'est toute mon enfance. Merci monsieur Landon.

  • le temps passe et je suis toujours fan de toutes les séries ou je l ai vu

    rip

  • Thanks I Wish Visit This Grave With All My Heart

  • You're welcome

  • I really didn`t realize he died in 1991. When someone like Michael Landon goes home, they leave so much of their lives with so many who were blessed by them. Michael Landon touched so many lives through his life and hard work. RIP

  • Michael Landon was cremated? I always thought he had a regular burial?

  • Just Respect for Michael

    RIP

    Love from Holland

  • Foi um excelete ator, eu o adimirei muito, nos filmes de "Bonanza"nos meus 13 anos de idade,não perdia um filme dele.DEUS o abençõe esteja ele onde estiver...

  • i luved him so much

  • Me too. He was my adopted tv daddy. Growing up, during LHONTP time, my actual father was the town drunk. He's been clean and sober for over 20 years now, Thank Goodness. But I idolized Landon, because he was the pa I wanted so badly at the time. And when he died in 91, it was like I lost a family member. I cried for days after that. It's hard to believe he's been gone for over 18 years. Now he really is an angel.

  • @fatbaby73

That is so funny I felt the same way. My dad was killed when I was 3 and I thought Michael Landon as my Dad. I even named my only son Landon after him.

  • Mala la filmación, que pena.

  • An amazing Actor and director ''Little House as was Quoted by Himself 'I wanted to do a show of Love

  • Whenever they show that episode of Little House where that poem is used it always makes me cry. That was one of my favorite episodes.

  • Michael Landons oldest son just died recently, a few weeks ago. He was actually adopted by Michael Landon from his 1st marriage. I still watch "Little House on the Prairie" and feel sad that he is gone. What a great laugh he used to have - well I'm sure he still has it up in heaven!

  • @weneedhelp123 Hahaha! If there is one thing I will remeber about him, it is his super great laugh! xD and of c ourse Little Joe Cartwright! Still watch Bonanza today! <3

    I feel bad he`s gone...:(

  • I never agreed with that 'remember me with laughter only' thing. Tears and mourning are a part of life.. they must be mixed in with the laughter.

  • I don;'t think I can handle going there, even 18 yrs later. Still not 'over it'. It is painful in the deepest way. That show is like my surrogate father. I learned how to write scripts from watching that show. I seriously think we should form a Landon mourning support group.

  • I was named after Little Joe. My parents were big Bonanza fans.

  • Part 2:

One of my older brothers looks a lot like him,and he remembers me of him every time i see him.

    Same face,same hair and attitude.

I will never forget him,and may he rest in peace, and when my time has come,i will surely visit him over there!

Thank you Michael for all the nice things you gave my in live!

    Willy

  • Nice words,willy.Really.

And that's what it's all about, love, share, family and friends..understanding each other.I 've never seen Bonanza or Little house, but I saw Highway to heaven in 1.985 and I really love the series since then.

  • Michael was one of my favorite actors and persons when i was a young child.

I was about 6 years old when the Bonanza show appeared on Dutch TV.

I runned around the salon table with my older sister in law, pretending being on a horse when the Bonanza tune started.

    I will never forget that.

In those days he was my hero, and later in the time of Little house on the prairie,he was my model for a big brother or father.

such a nice and sweet person and character!

    Part 1

  • im pushing on now and its so sad to think back of a fantastic actor and human as him... i loved the show . it had everything in it . most of all innocence.. what age was Michael when he died? and what from? may he rest in peace...

  • he was 54

    he had cancer

  • Thank you.. that we could be a part of it..

  • It was our honor.

  • Great actor, I hope I can visit his grave some day!

  • OOhhh dammmn so much - my eyes are so watered I cant see anamore. . .

  • So sad, miss Michael so much.

  • We miss you so much Michael and I still love watching the Bonanza reruns and Little House On The Prairie is good too.

  • Michael Landon was a great man and an actor!

I will always miss him. He came to show good examples on how we should live our lives in helping and loving ourselves and others! R.I.P until then and God Bless Michael.....all the way from Samoa

  • You failed to focus in on the plaque, and you talked small-talk as you shot the video. Give us the meat!

  • Yeah, this video was shot in 1997 long before Youtube. It was mainly for ourselves, but we thought we'd share it anyway. I hope we have improved since then. We do have the pictures on our website. Thanks for the comment.

  • Why are you so interested in visiting gravesites and shooting videos of them?

  • It is such a powerful thing to stand at the grave of a famous person, particularly one that you admired and idolized. Their grave is kind of a monument to their life. We video tape in order to share with others. Pictures are great, but they don't capture the setting and that moment of discovery when you first come upon someone's grave. This is kind of an over-simplification, but I hope it in some way answered your question.

  • Thankyou very much for your reply.I agree with you completely.

  • No problem.

  • they probably do it as a form of respect and be able to share it with those of us that will never get the chance to do so. Dont spose you could head to NY and get a video of Lillian Gish's plaque for me...

  • Wow, I'm sorry to say we were in New York in 2007 and we didn't even realize she was there! She was right there in Manhattan. She was amazing. We have no immediate plans to return to New York, but when we do, she is at the top of the list.

  • Where is this grave? Is is open to the public? I noticed that there seemed like a glass door around it but it looked like people dropped off flowers and photos. Sad he is gone! That's what 4 packs a day of cigarettes and alcohol does to you. Patrick Swayze didn't learn his lesson either. He's been given a 2nd chance at life and goes to his chemo appointments with cigarettes hanging from his lips. His wife should bring Patrick to this grave!

  • It is in Hillside Memorial Park in LA, right behind the main mausoleum. You can approach the gravesite, but the glass doorway is locked and open only to family members. You are right about the smoking. It is one tough habit to break.

  • He was a genius, he show the familily values,in every episode of The little house and Highway to heaven, he gave us a lot. God bless you and thanks to have been part of my life.

  • Michael is remembered with smiles and laughter, he is the best example for the use of medium of television.

  • R.I.P and salute from your Vietnamese fan

  • A D E U S !!!!!

  • I thank you for House on a prairie..I have a hope, that so will look paradise...

  • Thanks for sharing. I never got a chance to see that one.

  • It's right here on YouTube. You can sort of tell the battle was already over in the Carson clips. He joked around and carried on, introducing a clip of his new fall pilot (a failed show called "Us"), and was talking about an alternate future "if he makes it"... but you can just tell that he didn't believe a word of what was coming out of his own mouth. Sad and poignant, especially now, but a fun interview. Worth watching.

  • p.s. They (Johnny and Michael) carried on the conversation as if he might make it, told the bad jokes, etc. But it's obvious to the viewer he was coming on to say good-bye.

  • Tous mes respects Michael !

  • Why did he dead ?

  • He died of Pancreatic cancer.

  • He was on a lot. He was that star of I Was A Tenage Werewolf. He was Little Joe Cartwright in Bonanza. Charles Ingalls in Little House On The Prairie. Also Jonathan Smith in Highway To Heaven. He was in a lot more too. He was the best actor and that will never change.

    I LOVE Michael Landon!!!! <3<3<3<3

  • RIP Michael Landon. You will be missed.

    I LOVE Michael Landon!!!! <3<3<3<3

  • rest in peace

  • How ironic....Michael Landon is buried just a few feet away from Lorne Green. RIP to both.

  • that is so sad, unfair nice people to die.unfair just unfair

  • the day he dies, the news anchor said he was on a popular television show "banana" then corrected herself and said bonanza

  • God rest his soul...Ingalls family should be the perfect eaxmple for us.

  • I wouldn't look to any tv show or characters therein as an example because it's a highly filtered reality.

    BUT...

LH was a great show and ML was a relatively good man. Been watching it everyday on YT.

Did anyone see the Baptist preaching against little house. I thought it was a joke at first. Look up "Baptist Little House" and make your voice heard. The guy deleted my comments, but apparently, the show wasn't "Christian enough"?

Anyway, ML had a great sense of humor, I heard.

  • Ah death, the final end to our suffering of endless decision making.

  • he's been gone almost 17 years already, hard to believe because I remember watching the news when they announced his death.

  • I still get sad knowing hes gone..he certainly influenced television with his programs

  • he created good wholesome television programs that were a staple for more than 3 decades.

  • Loved Bonanza, Little House grew on me, but was a little sentimental, Highway to Heaven was pure claptrap.

  • Actually, I'm very spiritual. Does that mean that I have to like anything pertaining to God? Crap is crap. It's not the subject matter, it's the treatment.

  • I appreciated it because PA was in it! ;-)

I was little in the '80s, but I watched HTH. Mr. Landon was always an endearing character no matter what show he was on.

  • I love this man. He was such a huge talent. Love his work on "Little House on the Prairie". I hope his work endures forever. We need television like "Little House" back on the air in prime-time.

  • I was never a big fan of Mr.Landon's

..still his loss is a sad and needless one.

  • You have to be the biggest prick on you-tube with comments like that.

  • I feel like Im trespassing... couldn't watch the video. ended up reading comments instead. Shuld have turned it of, but somehow I had to peek.

RIP Mike... hope u are in a good place. Love ya

  • I don t understand that the man said but I think is not offense, there isn t laughs , there isn t bad education for me

Maybe peoples far way can not go to his grave and put a flower and in this mode we can said a oration for him.

  • We agree. Thanks for the comment.

  • I read the comment. Perhaps you should word it more carefully next time so it can be taken in the way you want it to come out. :) And thank you for clarifying and for the video! I enjoyed seeing where he's at. It's beautiful.

  • Not to beat a dead horse, but it was worded just fine. When you see a comment indented, it is addressed directly to the comment before it. Glad you enjoyed the video!

  • What makes you think that those that are gone don't want to be visited and remembered? What part of that makes anyone a hypocrite? Quit being ugly and let people remember him the way they want. Maybe seeing he's in such a beautiful place will bring peace to others. So give it a rest and be nice :)

  • You need to read more carefully. I was addressing "code2high" about his comment that we wouldn't let him rest in peace. I called him a hypocrit because he watched the video and he's scolding us. We believe in visiting the graves and sharing them with others.

  • Poor guy cant even rest in peace

  • If you watched the video, that makes you a hypocrit.
