  • starts off ok, but half way through it goes downhill. pretty awful movie to be honest

  • the intro of the video here had me rollin because thats so true what those dudes were laughin and talking about lol i remember that from since a kid

  • this movie really sucks.. dont bother seeing it

  • They should have worked on the ending a bit more, it was too abrupt. It had far more potential.

  • religion has done nothing but destroy progress and put people in early graves.

  • Fucking religion is frightening.. D: just how easily people are brainwashed.. Has caused me a few sleepless nights.. -.- good thing most religious people aren't THAT crazy!

  • This movie is amazing, just saw it. 4.5/5 Kevin Smith has come along way.

  • DUD DUD DUDUD DUN DAH DUN you're like, we're in for some shiiitttt

  • i love the fact that Kevin Smith couldn't get any backing from Hollywood on this project because of its touchy subject; so he released it himself. WIN! i cant wait to see how many ppl he pisses off in the bible belt with this.

  • Greece > Rome > British Empire > USSR > Nazi fucking Germany > > > > > > > Republic of Negroes > Dogshit > These here Divided States

  • Is fat boy still blubbering over Howard Stern? I'm surprised they aren't friends, since Howie's turned into such a liberal pussy in the last few years.

If we end up in a war against China, I'm rooting for the red army. Why? Because fuck every single one of you, that's why.

  • I don't like conservatives, but I HATE liberals with a civil war declaring, sell your kids into slavery type passion. In an ideal world, you'd all be lined up and shot, revived, and then shot again and again and again until I get an orgasm.

  • More kosher prejudice from the cowards in Hebrewwood. Lets make a movie about white liberals who spew anti-white propaganda and then make their city into a welfare state, where eventually they get outnumbered by nonwhites who remember, have been conditioned to hate ALL white people, and therefore bring about their own demise in an LA riot like scenario where faggots like Michael Moore and Kevin Smith get impaled.

  • @crumblingimages you mad bro?

  • All of the teens die by the end.

  • @Laconophile

    No they don't.

  • @refuckulate420 yes, they do? Watch the movie lol.

  • @MikeRedd57

I just wanted to be contrary. Besides this move is just shit.

  • thumbs up if you have Pirate Bay open in another tab

  • kool! psyco bible thumpers!

  • I just saw this online. Wow, is all I can say. If you're a Westboro Baptist Church member....you should definitely see it! It's like seeing what everyone wants to do to you!

  • Jay and Silent Bob? Tell em steve dave?

  • what the fuck is that?

  • Red State = Future America current Iraq + Afghanistan... Do not forget Iraq that we liberated your country from an evil ruler in our madness! This is a message to the future children of Iraq and Afghanistan if you are reading this in or around the date of 4000 AD, take this as a calling to join the resistance because I write this letter full knowing that my time is up and that a bullet will be placed in the back of my head at a death camp. That is all.

  • @Unrealll6666 Wow. Grow up.

  • Haha it does say her. Well, it looks like she made a scary film. Can't wait to see it. Babble the fuck on!

  • Why is the pronoun "her" tied to Kevin Smith in the description? That should definitely say "...has released the teaser-trailer of HIS first horror film..."

  • This shit is a hot mess, can't wait to see it!

  • @ZornSunshine LMAO!!!

  • The screenwriter, actor and director Kevin Smith has released the teaser-trailer of her first horror film, 'Red State'.

    Holy fuck shes ugly!

  • 0.49 Its jen schwalbach! The girl in the purple, literally a nano second

  • 0.49 Its jen schwalbach! The girl in the purple, literally a nano second

  • looks like the intro to True Blood.

  • I love the smod n' cast intro. lol "we're in for some shiiiiit!"

  • In the end all the protagonists die.

  • got the chance to see this yesterday at radio city music hall in nyc, it's so great. probably kevin smith's best film, above clerks and shows how far he's really gotten from clerks

  • What do you mean with "her first horror film".

    Did Kevin Smith changed sex?

  • ohhhh so THIS is what Kevin Smith does with all his free time on the ground (since he's too fat to fly)

  • where are jay and silent bob?

  • Phleps is a registered Democrat and has run in those primaries. That's correct, but everyone knows he couldn't get the following he has in a blue state. Also, he did not hold fund raisers for Clinton, he was vocal (when is he not?) in his opposition to Clinton. I can register as a Republican, Socialist, etc., but that doesn't change my beliefs does it? Red states are controlled by the religious right, that's not a secret.

  • @thejonahdoan Yes, but does that mean that Missy or Emma will be incl'd in the story?

  • Revisionist crap. RED STATE obviously refers to Republican and they are trying to equate Phelps and his ilk with them. But Fred Phelps is a Democrat to this day. He was a 3 time Democrat gubernatorial candidate in Kansas. He held fundraisers for both Gore and Clinton. He was invited to both of Clinton's inaugurations. His son was a Gore delegate in 1988. But yeah, it must be the Republicans who are hate spewing, right?

  • @PeeboTyson You're wrong. I've kept a close eye on this film since the earliest chatter about it. I've listened to all of the RED STATE OF THE UNION Q&A podcasts and can tell you for a fact that the RED in the title does not stand for anything religious. Smith has stated on a number of occasions that this is a horror film and that the RED in the title stands for blood. Blood is red and this is a horror film.

  • @PeeboTyson generally, yes. religious right wingers are the most hateful people in america. dispute it all you want, you're just in denial by talking about phelps when its obviously about westborough

  • Any film directed by Kevin smith is gonna be good.

  • That would just be weird if jay and silent bob just popped outta no where tommy1971

  • I can not fucking wait.

  • I was looking for the trailer for Kevin Smith's latest, and I thought I was watching the trailer for a different movie. This looks ridiculously good.

  • shot with RED, like Social Network, I want to add to cart. These creepy Parks singing hymns are the soundtrack, can't wait for a Q & A session....MPL$

  • kevin smith grows up and makes a adult movie. awesome

  • Saw it yesterday. Was a bit of a let down. Movie was very different then the trailer, and especially the poster, makes it look.

  • Killer cast! Pretty keen to see this!

  • Looks like a critical look at Christian fundamentalist cults/gangs/militias in the US. What really interested me is that Kevin Smith of all people is directing it, and I think I saw John Goodman in there! I'm interested in knowing more... the trailer didn't say much, but it hinted at the right things to get you curious.

  • So, what exactly is this movie suppossed to be about?? Smith got the principle right in the trailer by not giving everything away, but he didn't really give anything away.

  • Nothing like a Kevin Smith movie!!

    Fuck You Wetsboro church!!

  • I have seen this movie already (not saying how) and it is fucking insane and brilliant. If you like Kevin Smith, you will like this.

  • @directkid87

im calling bullshit on that. Just saying. but I dont tell you how.

  • @kylemaco

Yeah well i worked on the fucker and saw it three days after it wrapped.

    "Let's do this shit"

  • @directkid87 you just said you wouldnt say how...

so what was your role in the film? im wondering becuase kevin smith uses the same production team... EVERY film.

  • cant wait , love Kevin Smith and Love horror , fuckin pumped

  • Fred phelps has definitely got a serial killer personality, if he was not venting his hatred on this he would be killing people!

  • Kevin Smith should have titled this film: "Deliverance of the Texas Chain Saw Children of the Corn" because there is absolutely nothing new about pandering to urban America's irrational fears about the rural minority that lives in-between California and the East Coast. The Westboro Baptist Church is a ridiculous bunch of people, but there is no reason to assume that, just beneath the surface, they are really a bunch of gang banging, murdering, psychos. This movie looks to be full of shit.

  • @BandofSorensons

After living in Texas, I beg to differ. Religious fundamentalist groups are alive and well, and they're worse than the Taliban. They think they're the majority, yet live in isolated communities. They think the entire government should adopt only their religious laws.. They even ban science and promote forcing myths to be taught in public school. They're better armed now and less educated....

    They're called Christian Fundamentalists

  • @neothespian You are exaggerating. I grew up in Texas and have lived in El Paso, Austin, and Houston. Scarcely have I encountered anyone who might be construed as a "fundamentalist" much less anything like the wild eyed monsters depicted in this trailer. The closest, I suppose, I have come is hearing about Waco in the news but then again those weren't really Christians by any stretch of the imagination. Where are all of these terrible Christians who are ready to kidnap and murder unbelievers?

  • Fucking incredible.

  • satirizing the Westboro Baptist Church...so, its OK to belittle any individual of western faith as long as it fits your warped mold of theological normalcy? Fred Phelps is a fruit cake and "protesting" at the funerals of fallen soldiers is in no way anything close to theological normalcy. Fred Phelps nurtures hatred against everyone, his use of gender preference is really the least of his concerns and is a thinly veiled and easy cover.

  • Ive seen the whole movie..and. WOW kick ass and totally indie too..no studio grabbing onto homies nutts on this one..good job Kev

  • I think kevins got his groove back in film. holy shit i cant wait to see this, a actualy trailer that builds up the fear, no spoil it. Even if this movie doesnt fair well at making money, this well get rave reviews. i can just picture it,

Oh and ive read kevins recent comics he has written. good stuff but the ark work is the only thing that turns me off. but the writting is great

  • If anyone hasn't seen Kevin Smith's serious side, they only need to look for his run on such Comics as Daredevil, Green Arrow, and presently, Batman!!!

People should check out some of Kevin's Smith serious writing with his 8 issue run on the"Daredevil" comic, published about 10 years ago!!

Very dark subject matter dealing with religion and faith, but an AWESOME read!!

Batman: The Widening Gyre is also quite Disturbing as well!!!

  • YAY, let's all bash Christian biggots, cause noone has ever done that before. On the other hand I wanna someone gather the balls to bash Muslims biggots and manage to survive one year against the fatwas that'll be imposed on their heads.

  • @Barbaroossa

Wow... Christians force their religious laws on people in the US who aren't Christian, disregard the whole "Freedom of Religion" by demanding Bible myth be taught in public school and abortion doctors to be shot, and still have the balls to insist they are a "Persecuted minority". That's funny... if many Christians secretly had their way they'd force my children to pray at school everyday and send gays and lesbians to concentration camps.

  • @neothespian You'd be surprised to hear that I, a "fundamentalist", and all near me of like mind, have by consensus absolutely no desire to send anyone to a concentration camp just b/c they do not believe what we believe. Further, while we are likely not sending our children to public school (chiefly for the reason that the education is an inferior one) we see no need to enforce anything that we believe upon the children who do attend. I am not a killer, I don't hate people different from me.

  • @BandofSorensons

But you still discriminate against your fellow man. And THAT is a HUGE problem.

  • @jcrhode Who is it that I discriminate against? In what manner do I do so? I think that I do no such thing.

  • WOW! Those shots look incredible. Nothing like a Kevin Smith movie. Great camera angles, and Michael Parks singing really sets the mood for something creepy. Looks like a shout out to all the satanic movies in the 70s (Rosemary’s baby and Race with the Devil). I’m intrigued

  • wtf happened at 0:54? lmao

  • Well, I think we can rule out any appearances from characters in the Viewaskewniverse...

  • what a piece of crap

  • After waiting this long, this is what we get? A painfully Generic trailer that looks like it was shot by some film student with deep pockets but no talent?

  • @goji2099 It's a fucking teaser, retard. It was produced for a podcast, not for theatrical distribution.

  • @negatyve Does being a teaser for Podcast seem to indicate that you can show terribly shot, poorly framed footage, and look like every single low budget direct to DVD horror film anyway? Really? I've seen shit shot with a Canon HV40 that looked better OUT OF THE CAMERA.

  • @goji2099 You crying bro? You should probably be more concerned with why your 3d animation looks like it was excavated from the bottom of a wastepaper bin at a community college.

  • The title of this flick has NOTHING to do with the political party system in the US. In all Actuality, this movie is a Horror movie... You know blood and gore and scary people... The title "Red State" Is merely supposed to inhibit the bloody horror that may ensue in this movie. It has absolutely no dealings in politics. Also, not REALLY about Fred Phelps. At first it may seem it, but its a fictional horror film. Stop reading so much into it.

  • Kevin Smith - the single most over-rated director/ filmmaker there is. Here's hoping this silly looking mess gives us another Smith Twitter meltdown.

  • lik a year or two ago, a muslim guy killed his daughter for taking her head scarf thing off.they should make a movie about muslims

  • Rubbish. Didnt laugh once

  • what's this film about?,doesn't look like a horror film.

  • It's a movie that spins the conventions of those classic Satanist/Occult thrillers from the 70s. Instead of scantly clad girls being chased through the woods, you get scantly clad boys being chased through the woods. Instead of evil, scary Satanists, you get evil scary fundamentalist Christians. Ha Ha. Get it?

I think it's supposed to be ironic, not political. It's a cheesy horror movie-Which is what Kevin Smith has been saying about it from the beginning.

  • Why "Red State", Mr. Smith?

  • @sdkintheusofa

Because the title Blood State would be lame!!!

  • looks like his buddy Eli Roth helped him

  • No dick joke? Fuck this movie......seriously though it seems pretty different for Kevin. I will give it a watch if it becomes available to me. And by watch. I mean PAID watch.

  • Looks like a movie about the Westboro Baptist Church, the picket signs at the beginning

  • great another movie about christian killers, there arent a million of those already

I'd like to see this fat ass grow some balls and do a movie about MUSLIMS, you know, the religious extremists that AREN'T imaginary.

  • @TheFairKnight I know a lot of Muslims and none of them are extremist. My guess is that this movie is about people who are so afraid that they think everyone... liberals, muslims, gays... are out to get them. Maybe you know someone like this? Someone close to you?

  • @jeng3000 and I know alot of christians that arent extremists, your point is?

Oh and I also dont know any christian network of terrorists, any christian that kills for a cartoon of jesus, any christian that stones his wife for adultery, any christian nation that kills apostates, any christian nation that stones people on account of blasphemy, any christian sect that preaches the subjugation of all non-christians as second class dhimmis, the list goes on.

  • @TheFairKnight not a student of history i see.

  • @yurig06 I'm talking present day you genius, point me to anything among today's christians, even the so called radicals, that is comparable to anything of any kind that goes on in the muslim world, go on

  • @TheFairKnight You don't know any Christian that stones his wife for adultery? What about stabbing her or beating her up?

  • @jeng3000 I don't know any predominantly christian nation that institutionalizes these things and make it a lawful, normal part of life for all the citizens in the country, no, do you?

  • @TheFairKnight The fact remains that even with such ridiculous laws, these kinds of events are incredibly rare. They are usually the result of idiots who allow the punishments to occur instead of convincing the parties involved to be rational. I am not apologizing for the ridiculous laws or the allowances of such punishments. However, in practice, the difference between annual lawful torturous punishments over there and none over here ends up being a number you can probably count on your hands.

  • @TheFairKnight This flick is based on Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church... Extremists that AREN'T imaginary.

  • @FilmmakerRyan so the most extremist you can find on the other side is a man that is not only condemned by the majority of christians and the church, but that holds views on homosexuality that are LIGHTER than ANY imam in the middle east.

Oh and we can all remember the death squadrons of the Westboro Baptist Church killing infidels, yeah those we're terrible, it totally calls for movies about christian murderers

  • @TheFairKnight Hahaha, if the Westboro Baptist Church could get away with murder they would.

And extremist is extremist. Just because they haven't killed anybody doesn't mean they aren't extremists. You're talking about MUSLIM extremists. I'm talking about extremists in general. Regardless, all of them deserve to be made fun of.

  • @FilmmakerRyan "Just because they haven't killed anybody doesn't mean they aren't extremists" yes but it DOES mean that they are LESS extremists than those that DO kill. There is something called graduation you know, stop trying to plea this crazy moral equivalency.

  • @TheFairKnight Stop trying to rationalize your reason for bitching.

  • @FilmmakerRyan So all extremists, by virtue of being extreme, are murders? So, extreme pacifists are prone to murder for the cause of pacifism? What does it mean to be an "extreme Christian" or an "extreme Muslim"? Can you give example of each and show why it is that they are, in fact, as you say, "extreme"?

  • @BandofSorensons Maybe you should actually read my comments before you respond. I said earlier, "Just because they haven't killed anybody doesn't mean they aren't extremists." I never said that extremists are murderers. I think you're confusing me with the idiot I was arguing with.

  • @FilmmakerRyan Oh, extremists aren't murderers? What are they again? And why is it is wrong to be one?

  • @BandofSorensons Now you're switching from one position to the other? "You're an idiot for thinking extremists are murderers!... Wait.... You don't think all extremists are murderers? You idiot."

    Go back to Trolling 101.

  • @FilmmakerRyan I'm not switching my position. The problem is not whether or not "extremists" are murderers. The problem is with what kind of extremists and what it means to call someone extremist. I think that most "extremist" or "radical" Christians are very far from approaching the category of "murderer". I think that, maybe, what people mean to say is that "irrational" Christians are likely to be violent just as much as any other irrational person. But those are different things entirely.

  • @BandofSorensons Interesting response.

Just to make sure I have everything clear - what exactly are you asking me? Because the last response seemed like you flipped positions, being the reason I thought you were trolling. I just want to know exactly what you're asking me so that I can give you an appropriate response.

  • @BandofSorensons

But, if many Fundamentalists could get away with things like forcing a state religion on all of us who are not Christian or even violent enforcement of their extremist religious laws and edicts, they would. In a heartbeat. Many "God Fearin' 'mericans" somehow think that everyone in the US is required to believe in the Christian faith, when many of us just aren't Christian. And, they won't stop until they force us to "believe" as they do

  • Comment removed

  • Übler linker Agitprop-Rotz. Möchte so einen Film mal über linke Gesellschaften sehen.

  • stpuid rednex.

  • WTF?! .........I'll watch it

  • Basically the consensus is that any religious fanatic is a nut, whether muslim, christian, or what have you.

  • I love you John Goodman!

  • @frostwave01 JOHN GOODMAN FTW

  • Kevin smith has come a long way from dick and fart jokes :) hopefully not too far though.

  • i'm there

  • @Mishyana - Do you remember all Southern Slave Masters were DEMOCRATS!

A larger percentage of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Democrats. It is a total lie that Republicans or Conservatives are bigots.

  • @higgme1ster

Haha while you are correct in the first two parts (heck JFK voted against the 1964 C.R.A.) to then assume that A and B equal C is so off-base its sad. As we have seen with not just our political party system but also w/ many government agencies, the constitution and the Government itself, America is a living-entity that is constantly changing, morphing and adapting itself. Thus Democrats of the 1800's, early 1900's are not equatable to the modern democrat.

  • @higgme1ster

The same can be said for Republicans. Once Republicans stood for Social Justice and once Dems stood for State Rights. Now it is quite obvious that they have flipped. Just like there was once Federalist and Anti-Federalist , just like the Whigs were the Liberals and Democrats were conservative, modern Republicans and Dems have evolved. However nothing in the historical evolution of our party system lends credence to your claim that Republicans or Conservatives aren't bigots.

  • @higgme1ster

Moreover I think it should be stated that Republicans in the past twenty years have openly opposed Pro-Choice, Divorce, and Gay Rights. All the while they supported Anti-miscegenation laws, Trickle-Down Economics (proven failure), big government (look at the expansion during Bush's presidencies) and invasion of privacy (Patriot Act). These facts are undeniable. Embedded in many of these policies is an underlying bigotry.

  • @higgme1ster

If you want to talk about how one party was different 100 years ago lets talk about how Reps have changed in the past 50 years. Republicans have swayed away from that which once made them a popular party and have become fractured once again. Furthermore I'd like to point out in my daily dealings I find Tea-partiers to be the most hateful of anyone - and ignorant. Most republicans are fiscal conservatives and understandably so - which is why its so confusing that they supported Bush

  • @higgme1ster First of all, 'Democrats' and 'Republicans' were very different creatures during the slave era. And it is not a "total lie that Republicans... are bigots" anymore than it is to say Democrats are. You talk about supposed hate on Daily Kos or DU as though sites like, ironically, Red State, or Pajamas TV, or Fox News don't exist at all.

It's not Al Gore on tv downplaying the contributions of black people to the building of this country. It's Pat Buchanan.

  • @Mishyana Reality check: Pat Buchanan left the Republican Party in 1999.

  • @higgme1ster Never mind that everything out of his mouth screams right-wing dogma though, right?

  • Phelps supported Al Gore in 1988 Democratic primary. Gore opposed a "gay bill of rights" in the 1984 Senate race and stated that homosexuality was not something that "society should affirm". Phelps supported Gore because of these comments. The Westboro Baptist Church helped run Gore's 1988 campaign in Kansas. Fred Phelps Jr., hosted a Gore fundraiser at his home in Topeka and was a Gore delegate to the 1988 Democratic National Convention.

  • From his bio on Wikipedia:

Phelps is a disbarred lawyer, founder of the Phelps Chartered law firm, a past civil rights activist in Kansas, and a Democrat who has five times been a candidate for political office in Kansas Democratic Party primaries.

Imagine that a weak minded hate filled Democrat! Only one more out of so many millions of frustrated and angry Democrats that want to "kill all Republicans."

  • @higgme1ster Really? 'millions'? Are you seriously that stupid? Hey look, a crazy fucking Catholic just bombed an abortion clinic, that must mean all Catholics want to bomb abortion clinics! See how retarded that sounds?

  • @Mishyana So You are saying that you love Republicans and you think Democrats to too?

  • Wait a minute! This film is called "Red State” but Fred Phelps is a DEMOCRAT!

Fred Phelps and his church hate our Military and picket their funerals!

That does not sound like any Red State conservative I have ever heard!

Kevin “Silent Bob” Smith been smokin’ to much real life chronic!

  • @higgme1ster Riggggghhhhht. Phelps is a fucking nutbag, it doesn't matter what party he belongs to. But while we're on the subject, why don't you show me how it's really blue states and the Democratic party who have been the most consistently, reliably, and virulently anti-gay. I know plenty of Dems who manage to support the military and not picket funerals, so your comparison comes off as even more stupid.

  • @Mishyana - My comment is that Fred Phelps is a Democrat yet Kevin Smith named the film "Red State" to denigrate Republicans. It's mendacity of the highest order. Out of tens-of-millions of registered Democrats, a greater percentage is in general “hate filled” than there are "hate filled" Republicans. Why most Democrats even hate their own existance. A quick visit to the daily KOS or the DU is proof enough. The vitriol found there against Republicans or conservatives is beyond the pale.

  • @higgme1ster

Thats a whole lot of rambling there without factual basis. I'm a dem and don't hate my existence - Heck I love life. I will admit I get angry when people say Obama is sending us to hell for providing Universal Health-care, while not one conservative complained about Bush spending an enormous amount of money on 2 wars - one which never needed to happen - yeah we got Saddam but what about Osama. My point is you'll cry when they come for your money but for you children ?

  • @higgme1ster

I get what you are saying but "Democrat" and "Republican" are just labels. Being a democrat doesn't automatically make you liberal just like being a republican doesn't automatically make you a conservative. The point is that Fred Phelps is an ultra conservative christian extremist, regardless of what party he's in. Also, this movie isn't about Fred Phelps, meaning the actors aren't portraying Phelps and his family. Smith said the movie is inspired by Phelps and others like him.

  • Kill all republicans

  • @GayTexasBoy Idiot, you better Kill all the Democrats first because Fred Phelps is a Democrat!

  • Sale out? I call it "Buying In"... It is funny how haters who never have the talent themselves think they have the right to call another person who is actually talented a "sale out". How about this... if you think Kevin Smith isn't doing it right, or if you think he is a sale out... then shut up and do it yourself, the supposed "right way" and quit talking shit... Otherwise you're full of hot air and your words aren't backed by actions... makes you look weak.

  • Considering that "Red State" was made on a $4 million dollar budget, I'm curious to see how it turns out, because in 1972(clarifying is needed) an unknown director named Wes Craven released "Last House on the Left" on a shoestring budget, & it was named one of the scariest films made (so for me comparing Red State to Last House is a compliment)

  • It's funny that people say he's sold out now instead of when he was making Cop Out.

  • wow i forgot that was his movie, great point.

  • This movie is gonna be f'in amazing. His comedies haven't been awesome lately, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a badass horror movie up his sleeves. Also, JOHN GOODMAN. WALTER SOBCHAK. That is all.

  • Makes your skin crawl. Creepy. Got to give it up to Kev Smith, remember if someone "sells out" it's in quality not the genre of film. I believe Mr.Smith has something to say w/ this film and that's why we loved him to begin w/.

  • her first horror film?

  • I am all for a horror movie with a realistic villain and I agree that fundamentalism is a problem in the US, however, everyone pretty much already hates Fred Phelps. Not sure what more of a message needs to be driven home here. It's not like the people of Kansas embrace this guy.

  • @liarsclub75 I haven't been listening to all of the red state podcast so maybe I'm wrong but it doesn't seem to me like thats the point of that flick. I think I remember him saying somewhere that everybody knows Fred Phelps is a monster. *shrugs*

  • Dammit.I wish it was March.

  • I have no comment on the movie or its content... but I do think this is a terrible trailer. Kevin, send me the footage you want and I will make you a real one.

  • Can I get an Amen?

  • Kevin Smith is not attacking Christians, republicans or conservatives. He is showing the extremists like Fred Phelps, Jim Jones and David Koresh. These are dangerous men and there are lots more like them. They are extreme fundamentalists, they are not Christians.

  • @JJwoods18 Dude, WTF? We PREACH about the soul-damning sins of sodomy and murdering your babies (abortion)! We don't come after people with rifles like Steven Dale Green (1 of 6 American soldiers who raped Iraqi girl, shot/burned family/house) and Ryan Newell (Disabled veteran who stalked WBC with rifle, 2 pistols, and 90 rounds of ammunition). Shut up. We have only words; no deadly weapons.

You don't get to define what a "Christian" is; we obey Christ. John 14:15- If ye love me, [obey me]!

  • :)

  • Seems a little dark for a Smith film. Eh, what the heck I'll check it out!

  • Looks really good! Creepy, religious-zealoty people doing horrible acts because they believe they're justified by God... Can't wait to see it!

  • JON GOODMAN.

  • Looks like Lunchbox just got serious. Cant wait.
