Speaking of STAR TREK, the Kreeg influenced the look of the TMP Klingons. Gene must have liked the look of these baddies and decided to retcon the Klingons to appear more alien.

I remember watching this kind of thing. My parents did not approve.

I was getting something to drink during the commercial and was confronted by Mom who asked:

"Are you watching that Planet of the Apes junk, again?"

My reply:

"No, tonight it's Planet Earth junk."

If I am remembering this right, the KREEG actually scared me when I first watched this as a kid. I've been browsing through the three Gene Roddenberry projects and I finally found the KREEG. I remember most of the Genesis II movie, but I don't know about the other two. Seems hard to believe that three movies with similar ideas were aired for tv as pilots for series. All failed to generate a show and THREE movies got air time. It wouldn't happen today. Nice to see Star Trek actors recycled though
