Thank you for this message brother. I came out of a church that preached all 3 of these. The Prosperity gospel has a huge grip on the black church right now. I think they have bought into it far more than any other group in my opinion. They completely ignore 1 Tim. 6:3-11. Gain is not Godliness. Dominionsm is another huge isssue for Evanglicals. I look back and I cringe at how much I belived in this false doctrine. I thought I wasn't following God if I didn't vote Republican. So foolish.

No, I'm not Amish, but I do consider myself a Christian of Anabaptist background. The Amish also come from this group. I'm most closely related theologically to the Anabaptist/Mennonites and the Quakers.

I believe that if person is sincere, when he comes to repent before Jesus Christ, calculates the cost, gives up his life, and accepts Jesus as Savior and LORD - then he is born again, and Holy Spirit is the seal of his salvation (so he doesn't have to look on the back of the Bible to see the date of the prayer.)
I agree with you on the lie #1. In Ukraine we have the same situation.
What about # 2 I want to remind you Romans 10/9-12
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
As for #2, I would say there is a huge difference between just repeating the words of a prayer and truly crying out to God. Anyone who truly calls out to God to be saved will be saved, but unfortunately many people today are being told to simply repeat a set of "magic words" so they can get to heaven.

It is true that the gospel is not promoted by political power. But you almost said that the conservatives are evil as if liberals are okay. Bush is evil as if Obama is okey. You have done evil.

Well, if you would simply take the time to investigate next time instead of bringing accusations you would find I have consistently preached against Republicans and Democrats, and all political endeavors for some time. I consistently warn people to come out of politics, I vehemently promote total separation of the true church from the State, do not pledge allegiance and am against all warfare and killing for Christians. I dont vote now, but when I did I voted Republican.

You're right, I'm not a "conservative." I'm a Christian, and Chrisians do not involve themselves in the affairs of the world (politics.)
The only way that I am "in" politics is to preach for men to abandon such vanity and turn to Christ.

Christ commands us to not resist or fight back. He calls us to nonresistance.
As a matter of fact, I just got back from Serbia which has a large Bosniak population of Muslims. Remember the Yugoslav wars of the 1990's?
We MUST love our killers. That is what Christ did. If we do not, we will not be forgiven.
