i was planing to dress up as Captain America xD but in the end couldn't attend because my boot camp date for The Marines was changed to a earlier time T_T
i just got home recently so i misst all the good stuff x.X
D@mn! I only just discovered you guys 7 weeks ago; right when I started working again, and now you're gonna be SOOO close I can just about touch you...& I can't get away as I'm still putting my life back together. I'm supposed to have an apartment by Monday 2011.Aug.01, & then I'll still be working to support it. Well, there's always next year.
Keep up the good work; I look forward to having time to review all your vids.
How dare you have fun at GenCon in some way other than strict RPG games! You might ruin DangerRuss's fun! I mean, it's not like he...you know...can't attend the stuff he doesn't want to.
I love the Damsels. They are a huge part of why I chose to spend my money to go back to GenCon this year. They're all funny, intelligent, and wonderful entertainers. Because of my loyalty to them, it infuriates me to see people trash-talking them on here, or anywhere else. A counterpoint to the people whining about the lack of gaming in their shows would happen to be...How many of you want to attend ANY of the Entertainment events? How about the Anime events? Shut your traps, would you kindly?
@DamselsOfDorkington Ah well, that's what "Midnight Runs" sessions are for... I just don't get why they'd waste valuable slot space with side events that have (almost) nothing to do with RPGs... It's not like you're the second "Gamers" or stuff.
@DangerRuss666 When the group is packing 300 people into a room and then turning away others at the door because there's no room to even stand anymore, I'm pretty sure that qualifies as a good use of "valuable" slot space. At least it seems to be considered a good use since they keep inviting the group back.
@blytherenay That's arguable. It's a RPG gaming con, where people play and RPG companies and auxilliary companies go to to showcase their new and upcoming products, and where authors have workshops and stuff.
@DangerRuss666 Yes, I know. I've been there. But if the convention attendees are standing in line to wait for something, it doesn't matter what it is, the people who run the cons are going to keep it. Run your own con, and you can do what you want. In the mean time, the Damsels will keep performing at GenCon regardless of whether you think they should or should not. :)
@DangerRuss666 If you want to get technical, what do author workshops have to do with RPGs? The Damsels have a lot to do with various geek culture including RPGs and gaming so they have just as much to do with gaming as other things there. Have you even seen their stuff or are you just flaming for the sake of flaming?
@DangerRuss666 Wow, not everything has to do with RPGs or even games at Gen Con. Seriously, lighten up you aspergers ridden waste of space. Which just in case you didnt know this GenCon started off as a board games and miniatures gaming convention.

Wasn't GenCon once supposed to be a RPG GAMING convention? oO?
DangerRuss666 7 months ago
@DangerRuss666 Still is! But gamers need nighttime entertainment too, which we prove by packing over 300 people into our shows. :)

@blytherenay That's one of the reasons why GenCon ultimately sucks and already failed in the past.

@DangerRuss666 Having more smart, funny, attractive girls who like gaming at GenCon is a sure sign of the convention sucking. Wait, what?
