The concert featured all of the original cast members except for Zac Efron, who was shooting Hairspray. Efron was replaced by Drew Seeley (whose voice was blended with Efron's during the film). Drew Seeley, who co-wrote "Get'cha Head in the Game" and sang as Troy in High School Musical the movie and soundtrack, joined the tour.

during this tour zac efron was shooting hairspray. Though Drew sung alot, he just sings the high notes that Zac could not hit, that is why in hsm2 or hsm3 the music is written for a baritone(Zac) and not a tenor(Drew).
