How do you upload footage from it? What software do you use?

I just use the USB to put the video in my Pictures folder then I get the Picture Motion Browser thing that somes with the Camcoreder. You hightlight the first section and go to the top of the window and click on Munipulate. Then go to Media Services then to YouTube. After that you copy the link at the bottom and paste it in ur upload bix thing... Sorry for that bad explaning lol.

Excellent review. I recently bought a JVC Everio, high definition, 40GB hard drive handycam but it was absolutely shit so I took it back today after seeing this and ordered the sony HDR SR10 just like the that you review in this video :)

Im only 14 so yeah, Im gonna be using this for making videos for my film production journey at school this year and making videos.

P.S How can I edit the HD files so that I can upload them to youtube?

Based on the footage I ve seen from your excellent review and that from the DCR SR 35 I ve decided to break the bank and go for this model. The difference between this and standard def is spectacular. Even on youtube which is hardly optimum viewing conditions.

I´ve got a problem. I want to use my camera in low light environment, so I tried different scene selection choices.. And the candlelight is by far the best... But.. the picture is lagging like hell. Can anyone tell me why is that?

dude, if your HD Video is like 1gb you wait days for your upload ;)

Try to use an edit programm like sony vegas and compress the video.

A video like 100mb has something like a half an hour to upload or so.

The camera records to a built in hard drive. the primary difference between the sr10, sr11 and sr12 is the size of the drive. 40GB, 60GB and 120GB respectively
