HA...im american and i only own german cars. i ride my 2001 540i 6speed everday and wipe american cars ass. now older american car i still love they were built very well. now people are so greedy that cars last about 80,000 miles if lucky. my first bmw 1990 535i dinan with over 340,000 miles a still beat camaros and mustangs. i loved it. The new M3 with SMG is 0 - 100 in 4.5secs. Faster than the M6 this is why its only coming out in manual at the moment. That sucks I think.

m3's according to most records are around 4.7 and 4.8. To 60 anyways. I think 2006 rs6 is 4.6. And they have better 1/4 mile times.

Id still prefer the m3 though. Im not hardcore into the racing though. Its not like the m3 doesn't perform great even if its not the best. I think it looks a lot cooler anyways lol.

It has been made to beat the audi and it does! So thats good at least. But cars of this level of power races come down the the driver! The RS4 isnt 4.6 0 - 60 also my best mate has one and trust me its VERY fast - but not 4.6! In his manual in the glovebox it says 4.7! And its manual so unless your a computer - real time youl be hitting just under 5 seconds. Thats why most M3s will always beat RS4 drivers.
