  • jwtyler: I'm searching hi and lo for some advice regarding how best to save the output of an image markup app like paintpot. That is, I know my kids (and I) would want to save the output of drawing mustaches on pics we take. The same goes for bluetooth-enabled dual (or perhaps it would invariably evolve into duel?) drawing, etc.

  • Sry for a late comment but...LOSTPANDA, the answer to your question is at 7:20 of the tutorial video. You use a TinyDB to keep track of whether the user has ever opted in, and of course, you have to add a control to check the TinyDB to see if that argument is true.

  • Really good tutorial, thx a lot!!

  • WOW thumbs up I love your videos!! so helpful please keep it up!!

  • walrus approved!

  • Your videos are really clear, I love them.

I have a question. Is it possible to switch screens with some sort of animation like a fading effect?

  • Thanks for your help! Btw, you should consider radio - you have a very pleasant voice.

  • Thanks! You are the man! ;)

I just wonder if the notifier will initiate everytime the user starts the app..

and if thats true, how is it possible to initiate it only once when the user starts the app for the first time...

  • @Lostpanda123 Save a value in a tinyDB that the screen init checks if the flag exists =)
