  • Amen! I hate 3D. i can't wear the glasses over my glasses and if I take of my glasses off to wear the 3D glasses, I can't see. and I'm not going to get contacts or eye surgery so I can watch 3D movies. also, it hurts my head.

  • *SPOILER ALERT*

Just for the record I saw HPDH part 2 and when Voldy died and flaked away in 3-d.

    EWWWW!

I was trying to brush of the Voldemort dandruff for weeks.

    3-D is pushing it!

  • I agree that there is too much 3D coming out and overall I don't really buy into it that much. So far I've only seen 2 movies in 3D at the theater, Tron and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (This was after already seeing it normally as well. We just wanted to try something different the second time) :)

  • i've gotten motion sickness from 3D movies.

  • I...I think I love you? <3

  • In Atlanta, there's a tour of the Coca-Cola factory. They show a video/movie and the chairs move and it shoots out water at times. Its freakin' awesome. ^-^

  • 3D gives me headaches :(

  • i hate 3 uness its hp

  • I saw this video long before seeing Captain EO. I'm glad that I can now appreciate the opening and the t-shirt. We ARE here to change the world.

  • :O POTTERS IN 3-D WTF HAPPENED TO SANITY??? but during most of the vid i was staring at the Remus plack :P

  • Yessss thank you! You just helped me with my home work!

  • STAR WARS IN 3-D?!?! OMGS! SOMEONE KILL ME! I love in 2-D and theres no need cause star wars is a type of ?-D on it's own

Anyway Alex really really good vid. =.)

  • No. We live in 3D

  • Alex can you make more videos like this! I miss the old ones when you're just being random and talking about stuff like this, not that I dont like you music I love it! I just love these videos they make me laugh!

  • I totally agree with you. I pretty much always choose the non 3-D versions when I go to movies. The only version of 3-D movies I like are the Disney World ones complete with smells, water, etc. coming from the seat in front of you.

  • I was with you until you said "Goonies in 3D" and then I was like OMG YES PLEASE.

  • *gasp* You stole those glasses!

Unless Captain EO let's you take the glasses. I haven't seen that yet.

lol, Anyway, totally agree. In fact, 3D really isn't that big of a deal for me. I think it's just a gimmick to make you pay more. Last 3D movie I saw was Despicable Me which was great, but not because of the 3D. Hell, I forgot it was even in 3D while I was watching it. I try to avoid 3D movies, especially unnecessarily in 3D.

  • I say leave the classics alone. They don't need to be in 3D...especially not The Shining.

  • I think pixar does 3D very well, and what they do should be the way everybody does it. it does not add the effect of having things jump off the screen, but instead it adds the illusion of depth.

  • I completely agree with you. Why would people pay more money just to watch a movie that would cost less in 2D? 3D just gives me a headache. If I had a choice to watch a movie in 2D, or 3D; 2D would win every time.

  • I don't care how many times people make threepio-spits-odds jokes, they're ALWAYS funny.

  • Vlogbrothers copy cat?

  • I only saw avatar and alice in wonderland in 3d, but I also think it´s way to expensive...and I wouldn´t want to have 3d at home, ´cause it´s really exhausting to watch in 3d

PS: I love "The Shining" one of the greatest movies ever...and..I don´t want it in 3d^^

  • i would like to see the ending sequence of 2001 a space odyssey in 3d

  • actully 3D now isnt popping out of the screen it just shows the detail now. 3D isnt fun anymore

  • I am curious to see STAR WARS 3D because Lucas will probably make the 3D effects far superior to any other 3D film. Lucas lives for stuff like this! lol

  • you speak my mind bra, I FUCKIN HATE 3D MOVIES! Now Thor is gonna be in 3D! WHY?! You got a new sub and a new friend, sir.

  • wait alex youre yelling!! lol hah but i really have only seen like 2 3D movies!

  • I completely agree with you. I ended up seeing Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland in 3D because I went to the midnight premiere with a friend of mine, and the only reason I didn't like my experience was because of the 3D. 3D can be incredible when it's an animated movie, but I don't think it should be used when the movie is live action or a combination of live action and CGI.

  • the 3d part didnt actually work. sad :( i was wearing the exact same pair as you too

  • Not gonna lie, seeing a 3D truffle shuffle sounds awesome. Only kids movies should be 3D (or some horror films like Jaws 3D). It is stupid to have a movie like step up or a love movie in 3D. I will never see the IMAX version of Harry Potter- death in 3D of the characters I grew to know so well is not cool.

  • I love your faraday impressions.

also I agree about 3D movies. overkill

  • i subscribed after watching this. you are awesome.

  • is it bad that when you pulled out your disney 3-D glass's i pulled out the ones that i took from disney and put them on??

  • I agree completely with what you said. 3-D id SO stupid. So, I'm really glad Warner Brothers pulled teh 3-D plug on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I was so glad they did that.... Apparently, Hollywood people CAN come to their senses once in a while. :)

  • I think there are way too many movies in 3D also, but Star Wars could be pretty impressive in 3D.

But in many of these 3D movies, I don't really notice the difference. Am I the only one?

  • It's simple. George Lucas just wants more money.

  • haha i actually went and got my 3D glasses, not the ones from disneyland but the ones from the movie theater. yeah. i save those. i'm cool like that :D

  • Josie and the Pussycats FTW!!!

  • how about Lord of the Rings in 3D?

  • Good video, thoughtful.

  • So fun fact about Captain EO: Mia Michaels [from So You Think You Can Dance] choreographed that. How freaking cool is that?

Also, 3-D movies kinda piss me off because I can't ever really see 3-D. I can only see out of one eye at a time, so nothing 3-D ever works for me. So being forced to have the dull headache for no reason really sucks.

  • hahahah!

  • Well I have noticed that after going to see 3D movies, every other movie seems like horrible, horrible quality. The fact that is extra money to see a 3D movie when you have to give the glasses back at the end seems a little ridiculous. If a movie is regular price, and its in 3D, it will probably earn a heaping load of money by itself. What they should do is make it extra if you want to buy glasses. but if you have them already, you should only have to pay the normal ticket price.

  • well said! 3D really isnt that cool... im not even going to see Deathly Hallows in 3D... that movie is going to be 100% amazing and yes... thats without the 3D

  • uh huh...

Um, my local cinema doesn't charge any extra to see a film in 3D.

Star Wars should NEVER be put into 3D. But, yeah I don't get charged anymore to see films in 3D so if it's a good film, I have no problem seeing it in 3D.

Saying that, Toy Story 3 is just as fantastic in 2D as it is in 3D... I've seen it in both.

  • 3D should stay at theme parks.

  • Avatar is still one of the best selling films of all time, even allowing for the inflated prices. I think it's somewhere around #14, going off tickets sold (rather than money).

But yeah. I have a big problem with movies where the 3D is added in post-production, like Alice in Wonderland, and Clash of the Titans. It look obviously inferior to the animated 3D films and those that were filmed using 3D cameras. It's just a label slapped on, it's only purpose really being to sell tickets

  • Do I siriusly see something that says REMUS in the background?....

    I love you. :D

  • I'm just loving that you have an AVPS vid, and HP, LotR, Paper Towns, and Shakespeare behind you. You win at life.

Oh, and I agree with this video too. :)

  • for me, i agree with everything you said.

most of all the Star Wars. I, for one, am a huge fan of Star Wars (Yes, even though i'm a girl). And I dont think its necessary to spend loads of money to make it 3-D. And I need glasses to see far away, and the 3-D glasses dont even fit over my own. So i either have to hold the glasses up to my face to watch it, or take off my own glasses and be blind for the whole movie.

    So i agree with you!

  • I completely agree! theres too many 3D movies...

    1. Star Wars was amazing, they don't need to be in 3D...

    2. nope... 3D movies are only kewl when they pop out at you, but lately all the movies I see have no differences...

    3. Toy Story 3 obviously!! :D

  • I agree. The problem with the 3-D tvs are that you have to wear the glasses and i would hate to be watching tv and have a massive headache during the show. Did you know that soon they are making Nintendo ds's in 3-D?

  • @stampsme

Are you kidding me?! really? thats really sort of idiotic.

  • @greenewithenvy2 My brother was talking to a lady who works at JB-HI and they were talking about it.

  • Oh My Goodness.

I 100% agree. *Every* single animated movie that comes to my theatre is in '3D' even if the movie itself wasn't necessarily meant for 3D. Even when I had a free movie pass I still had to pay 3 extra bucks for the stupid pair of glasses. This was for Toy Story, which is in fact, not made to be specifically 3D. I noticed basically NO 3D in it at all, it is such a rip off. VERY annoying. Why can't movies be normal anymore??

Also I picked the wrong size of glasses, the kids ones -.-

  • I agree! Everything at my theatre is 3D just so you pay $3 extra! Toystory didn't need 3D at all! And Starwars, is my fav movie and it is awesome without 3D!

  • i went to see Shrek Forever After in 3D last week and even though i enjoyed the film i came out of the cinema with a headache : /

  • ok 1) dfw book on yr shelf

    2) josie and the pussycats the movie owns so much i can't even stand it

    3) you are extraordinarily awesome

  • Soooo True! Movies are a fun way to spend your time, and i don't need a headache just because I want to have a good time.

    - I love star wars, but i really don't need to see them in 3D, thanks

    - Like you said, nope!

    - My favorite 3D moment is when I can take the glasses off.

Not a 3D fan here, sorry!

  • I love all of your comments on 3D! Perfectly said. I personally despise 3D, when I went to see Toy Story 3 (woohoo!) I specifically bought 2d tickets and our group of four saved over 20 dollars total. It was perfect not in 3d in my opinion. I agree with what you said about how it is all about money now with 3d...so ridiculous!

  • i agree completely! Your vlogs are so funny.

  • I agree with what you have said. 3D is just a stupid gimmick that I am not taking anything to be apart of. I don't go to movie theaters because:

    1) To expensive for a ticket

    2) I think majority of movies suck now anyways

    3) I have a mail-in rental movie service and I can wait for something to come out to DVD

And to all those who want to watch a movie in 3D even though its "fake" 3D they need to be slapped in the face.

  • Can't see the attraction. 3D hurts!!!!

  • 3D movies didn't work in the 70's and they wont work now

  • Cool

  • You are sooo right, it's not worth the headache and my eyes end up hurting too. I always go to 2-D films and is they're in 3-D I just wait for the DVD.

  • you read my mind.

  • Is it weird that I switched to HD just to see what the books on that shelf were?

    Great vid. ^^

  • I completly agree with you. I wish I could favorite this video twice, because of how awesome I thought it was!

I don't really like 3-D because I don't see the point of it (like you said, it is mainly used to get elements from the film popping out of it. Woo.). I've been disappointed by a lot of 3-D movies and now I'm just avoiding them.

How I wish they go and make a Ken Loach movie in 3D. *chuckles*

  • Is that a Ben Linus bobble head in the background... awesome!

  • alex! i'm wearing that shirt right now!

  • "If it's not done well you get Clash of the Titans."

    I LOLed. ^^

Also, I agree with you. 3D is nice in some movies, where it can be made part of the fun, but others I just prefer them to stay on the screen. I want to watch their stories, not to get into them. I think it'll be distracting.

  • I don't know... Gone with the Wind in 3D is awfully tempting.... lol.

    ;)

  • whoa you are SO right.

  • I'm up for the Goonies 3D! Bring it on!!

PS I enjoy the 'Remus' decoration in the background. Quite nice.

  • Nice vlogbrothers-esque background!

  • Thank you! You can't compare grossing movies across time - they should always have compared it on ticket numbers alone

  • ALEX FARADAY. He should make more surprise appearances. And I agree.

  • I love your commentary. It's very honest.

  • Yay! Someone agrees with me. I really do want to see Toy Story 3 in 3D because animation looks GREAT in that context. But life-action doesn't looka half as good. There needs to be serious computer-related (can't think of the word) attributes to the movie for it to look good in 3D, at which Avatar succeded. But, really, the Goonies was AMAZING without 3D, and added it would just be over kill. Thanks for getting it out there.

  • Wow, that was an excellent and impressive bar graph ;D

And a really good rant on 3-D. I do feel like there are a lot of movies coming out in 3-D are just to say they're in 3-D, because some people think that makes it special. And I'm not gonna lie, Avitar was kinda cool in 3-D, but it gave me a headache and it's difficult to wear those glasses when I already wear glasses. And Star War would be kinda cool in 3-D, but I just don't have that kind of money to be spending on movies.

  • Alex Faraday FTW.

And personally, I just don't really like 3-D. IMAX, though, I like. I would have loved to have seen LOTR in IMAX... Or 300. That would have been epic.

  • I hate 3D in the movie theater. The 3D at Disney was amazing quality, but at the theater they darken the film and never do it justice. It's annoying, and I honestly don't want to pay the extra cash. I've avoided movies because they were in 3D before, so I would think that over time this could potentially have a negative effect.

  • if they redo the classics in 3D it will just ruin them. One of the good things about them was that they could carry a good story line and get people to like them without overdone special effects.

  • that is as awesome shirt. and this is an awesome vid. nice work dude :D

  • You are a seriously smart cookie ^__^ I like you.

I have never actually seen a 3d movie, the only cool place my movies needed to go was the Science Museum imax movies ^__^

  • I am so appalled by Step Up 3D

  • Although 3D is cool I don't like watching it, the headaches just aren't worth it and I think 2D is just more appropriate.

  • Alex angry. ALEX SMASH!!!

  • I dont like 3-D. It hurts my eyes. I dont really get headaches when I watch them, but I hate flinching when they throw something at you. I dont know people like it.

  • nice daniel faraday reference, you have beautiful eyes by the way.

  • I've never seen any movies in 3D, and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

  • Totally agree!!

  • Alex Faraday :D

  • I think I'd cry if they tried to re-do the classics (especially Star Wars) in 3-D. They're epic enough on their own.

  • I have never seen a movie in 3D....so definitely do not care. I was rather annoyed that Harry Potter is going to be in 3D...

  • when alex rants. awesome things happen.

  • I agree that they shouldn't use 3D so much because they aren't going to make as much money as they did with Avatar. It's fun every once in a while, but shouldn't be used for every movie. I'm kinda iffy about Deathly Hallows in 3D. Though it would be cool to see Harry come through the screen towards me and to watch the battle as if it's happening around me, I think that it may take away from the movie. Can I really be emotionally involved in the movie with silly glasses on my face?

  • Oh my gosh, I feel exactly the same way, Alex Faraday! I think that 3-D is completely unnecessary. I will NOT be seeing HPDH in 3-D!

  • BEN LINUS BOBBLE-HEAD!!!

  • I can't watch 3-D movies, it exacerbates my astigmatism and really does hurt my eyes.

    So FAIL.

  • I totally agree with you, most movies that come out in 3D I dont even watch, i will go see them in regualr 2D, But i am really excited about toy story 3, not because of 3D though just because its toy story, and i do not think they should remake the star wars films in 3D, i mean what is that gonna do, you cant make those movies better, they are already AMAZING! Now maybe the newer ones could use a little help, lol but I say NO to star wars in 3D

  • No. No no no no no. No. I don't even watch movies in 3D

  • I liked Avatar in 3D but not Harry Potter, nor UP. Overall I'm finding myself firmly in the "no" column for most 3D flicks.

P.S. You're just as cute and engaging in 2D as 3D. And I'm liking these vlogs, so keep it up Mr. Faraday :)

  • Ohhh alex, I highly agree with you... but I might need to see 3d star wars... only because I would die to see star wars on the big screen.

  • "Thank you Alex Faraday." LOL loved that!

I don't like that they're making so much 3D now. If it's done well, it can be cool, but I had a classmate who couldn't see in 3D at all because of an eye problem and I know he's not the only one in the world like that. So, what about all those people? They just can't go to the theater anymore?! I know life's not fair, but sheesh.

  • Sorry, but I would definitely pay to see The Shining in 3D. Wow. The thought is amazing actually. Probably my fav horror movie ever.

    Other than that...I agree. ;)

  • I completely agree!! *favorites* They should NOT redo old movies to 3D. That's absurd. And nope, I have never watched a 2D movie and wanted it to be 3D. I liked them in IMAX, that's it. I've been wanting to see so many movies (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland) but refuse to pay the extra money to see them. Ridiculous!

  • your ranting amuses me

  • I'm so excited you're going to be posting more!

Oh, and by the way, I could NOT agree more with you on this.

  • I hate 3D. It seems pointless to me. I was just telling my friends that all the 3D movies lately are way too ridiculous.

  • Oh man I agree 100%

Movies should make ya feel like you're a part of the story in 2D anyway, it doesn't need to be fancy to create movie magic in my opinion :)

  • LEAVE STAR WARS ALONE!!!

  • I LOVE YOUR BENJAMIN LINUS DOLL. And I love Josie in the Pussycats. 3D is taking over and it gives me a headache.

  • HARRY POTTER SHOULD NOT BE IN 3-D!

  • Comment removed

  • I have to join in the agreeing with you 100%. We have a theater by us that doesn't do 3D, so I tend to see the movies there.

Even worse for me is that I can only see out of one eye...luckily they aren't the red/blue anymore, since that doesn't work at all, but even the new technology doesn't work. I get that isn't an issue for most people, but it is not like I am the only one with vision problems that can see regular movies just fine, but can't see the 3D

  • 3D movies give me headaches. I think the idea is good, but the results are lacking. The reason we see movies is because they aren't real. It's an escape from reality for a few hours. When you try to make movies 3D, it's like trying to make them real. Kind of defeating the purpose.

I'm not going to lie - I plan on seeing Deathly Hallows in 3D. But just because I'm going to that, doesn't mean I want all my movies that way. And they shouldn't be bringing back old ones. What's done is done.

  • Good points. Also, I'm excited for your upcoming videos. And yay Ben Linus bobblehead!!

  • So excited for Toy Story 3!

Completely agree. 3D is expensive and over rated. Though I did watch Toy Story 1 & 2 in theaters when they were rereleased in 3D, and they were awesome. This is probably just because it's Pixar and they don't know how to be anything but.

    I love your videos!

  • This was possibly your best vlog yet. And yeah, 3D is getting annoying. Avatar was cool, but I did end up feeling sick towards the end. And sometimes 3D just fails, I remember when the end of HP5 was 3D and it just...sucked. It was unclear and faulty and took away from the flow of the movie. I dunno. 3D is cool to a limit, as you said.

Also, you're noticeably improving at video making! The less scripted you sound, the better, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. <3

  • love the Faraday reference.

3D is extremely frustrating for those of us who already wear regular glasses. and that's basically my thoughts on that. Avatar was really neat to see in 3D, but i agree that most movies don't necessarily benefit from it. not gonna lie, i would probably going see Star Wars if it were re-released in 3D, partly because it has the potential to be awesome and partly because i never had the chance to see the original trilogy in theaters-but i don't think it NEEDS to happen

  • totally agree with what your saying, its just rich people trying make you pay more money. i had to spend £12 on a stupid ticket to avatar.

    - no, its a classic that should stay the way it was made!!!

    - nah, i like 3D, but i don't think normal films should be messed with.

    - avatar when hes flying round pandora ;)

  • I agree. I complain about this about twice a day. I'm fine if they're filmed in 3D but if not, they're usually crap. During Avatar I took off my glasses about every twenty minutes because I couldn't stand them. I've also always thought that in the fifties they were just made so they could get all of the silly people to put on awesome silly glasses. And as for releasing old films, unless it's coming from the Disney vault, I don't wanna see it.

  • 3-D is insane. That stupid rodent movie (was it G-Force? :'/) was lame, Toy Story 2 in 3-D wasn't very good either. Waste of money much? Star wars; to be fair, is fine the way it is; and i can't think of a movie that's not in 3-D that'll be awesome in it. I guess my favourite 3-D movie would have to be Spy Kids 3-D; only because I thought it was awesome. I heard from twitter that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be released in 3-D...enough said.

  • Comment removed

  • Because I wear glasses, the 3D ones never fit correctly which means that I miss half of the 3D stuff that is going on in the movie. For me 3D is worth nothing. I would rather sit and enjoy a 2D movie than sit uncomfortably and try to pay attention to a 3D movie.

  • Wow, I agree with everything you just said. The only movie I am excited about being in 3-D is Toy Story 3. But headaches, glasses that don't fit over my other glasses, movie tickets the price of Arclight tickets is insane. I don't get it.

    1. NO!!! Say it ain't so, 3PO!

    2. Can't think of a one, but if they ever mess with The Princess Bride I will be the first on the picket line

    3. The Polar Express in 3-D IMAX and it looking like it was snowing all around us

  • I'm so glad that you're putting this channel to more use now <33333

Also, I definitely put on my Avatar 3D glasses when you said to...was sad when it wasn't actually 3D. I miss seeing you in 3D

  • All 3D adds to movies is $10 and a headache!

  • space chimps in 3d? not worth it. at all.

  • movies in general are just way too expensive. I'd rather wait for them to come out on netflix watch instantly. Or just watch youtube videos.

  • Yes! Thank you for this video! I totally agree that 3-D is being over used and the ticket prices are getting out of hand.

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay captain eo!!

  • haven't they ruined star wars enough by making the prequels, do they really need to add 3-D plus some random extra scenes that you know George Lucas is going to throw in? also when are you announcing your chicago tour venue for July 1st!?

  • you have green eyes

  • I went to see Nightmare Before Christmas when in was released on 3D, for one weekend only, to mark it's something-anniversary. It was pretty expensive.

I think you're right. Far too many films are in 3D and wear I live it's like... £2.50 more. I know that's not that much but it could be spent on something better. Like popcorn. :)

  • Why does C-3PO sound like Mickey Mouse?

  • I'm sick of 3D. If it's done like Avatar, that was really good, but I mean, that's all.

Old movies were good as they were, they don't need to be re-done...

Star Wars would be kind of cool to see in 3D, only if it was done really well. But I wouldn't be saving my money for it.

No, there aren't really many movies I really want to see in 3D

Avatar was my favorite 3D moment, it was all really incredible so I can't really give a moment that I enjoyed. I enjoyed it all.

  • Too much 3-Dness. I think there should be some kind of law saying there can only be two 3-D movies a year, thats enough!

  • I share your opinion on 3-D movies. The price has gone out of control. True, I can understand 3-D for kid movies, but 3-D TV? It has truly gotten ridiculous. As for my favorite 3-D movie of the moment, probably How To Train Your Dragon, or Alice In Wonderland.

P.S. I can't wait for Toy Story 3! So excited!

  • Goonies 3D WOULD BE AWESOME!

  • Ive shown soo many of your vids to my friends... I think we first wanted to watch them cause your alex from the remus lupins and i stayed around because your videos are highly entertaining.. so yeah. There are some movies that are awesome in 3-D (How to train your dragon was freaking amazing) and others that arnt worth the headache (clash of the titains). I am kinda excited about the HP 3-d.. i dont know if it will be good but i am very willing to give it a try.

    debbi

  • I've actually never seen a 3D movie. The nearest cinema with 3D is to far away.

  • I totally agree with you Alex. Personally, I prefer 2D movies to 3D movies. I don't think Star Wars needs to be converted. They are pretty much completely awesome all on their own.

Oh, and I just wanted to tell you that I love that you have the Riverside Shakespeare on your bookshelf. That is fantastic!

  • I saw Clash of the Titans because Voldemort was in it. That and Beowulf were the only 3D movies I've seen in..... well, since the 3D glasses became way less cool (Blue and Red 3D glasses FTW!). Anyways, meh, you're right, I'd take a decent plot and great characters over "wow things look closer" any day!

  • I have never been a fand of 3d. It makes me even more mad to see everything being made in it. I go and see the regular movies because they are just as good and cost a whole lot less.

  • 3D Star Wars would hurt my brain. Completely. I call perversion of the natural order.

(btw-this video was hilarious, Alex Farraday.)

  • I totally saw the original Captain Eo at Disneyland, like 1986 or 87 :)

  • I totally saw the original Captain Eo at Disneyland, like 1986 or 87 :)

  • 3D is kinda stupid, it's ok for some movies but the amount that are 3D now is ridiculous. Also not everone can see 3D, my friend is blind in one eye so for her it's a waste of money.

  • I totally agree! WIthout a doubt I agree! I just don't understand the need to cheapen and novelty-ize movies by making them in 3D. It just starts to give movies a bad rap again! It's almost as if they're using the whole 3D thing because they can't let the audience know that no production companies are willing to stand beside good 2D movies nowadays cause there might not be as much money to be made. XP In the words of Ron Weasley: Hollywood and movie studios "need to sort out their priorities."

  • haha I totally agree with you. Not all movies need to be in 3-D. I mean i havn't even watched Avatar, (I'm just not into that kind of thing) Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows should be good in 3-D though, What do you think?

BTW. Yes your music video "Don't be A hater" was AWESOME!!! :)

  • I don't really like 3D movies... I mean, they're cool, but what's wrong with the good all normal movies?!

  • I watched Avatar twice. The first time in 3D because my friend wanted to see it in 3D. The second time I hunted all over the place for a 2D version.

I enjoyed it better in 2D.

  • No Deal to Star Wars being in 3D

It doesn't need it at all.

  • I am in total agreement with you! ....And I would like to see Josie and the Pussycats in 3D. ;)

  • At 1:09 Alex on the Jersey Shore? ha ha

I feel as if I'm the only person that's never seen a 3D movie.

Additionally, what is the exit song? Someone tell me please! -Gracias!

  • I agree.

  • we are in agreement, Alex! The 3-D thing occasionally makes a movie more exciting, but mostly it's just ridikulus! Definitely not worth the extra money and a poor excuse for making new movies with poor plots and character development. Well said!

  • Is it bad that I just grabbed my 3D glasses from Disneyland while you were doing that :) I think that making some things in 3D is cool but they don't need to re release things just for 3D and to make more money. The point of some movies is that they draw you in so much that you feel like you are in the movie and you don't need help from the glasses to do that. PS Did anyone see the Hp6 movie that claimed to be in 3D but it was only the first 10 min. or so? Lameness.

  • When I was younger, I was willing to wait in line at amusement parks for hours to see Spongebob Squarepants in 3-D. Not anymore. A lot of filmmakers seem to be using 3-D in order to compensate for a lack of originality. When I go to see a movie, I'm looking for a captivating story. I don't want things jumping out at me every three seconds..

Converting Star Wars to 3-D will only serve to cheapen the movies. Aside from a few 3-D lightsaber battles, I'm not interested.

  • However, the most annoying thing about 3D is having to wear the glasses over the top of my own. 3D glasses are not made for this (which is discrimination against visually impaired people everywhere), so they sit uncomfortably on the end of my nose bone which can become so painful I take them off and deal with the blur. I can't wear contacts.

I will not be seeing Harry Potter is 3D. Or anything else for that matter.

  • I dislike 3D because it is generally not done well. I didn't like Avatar in the 1st place, but I think the stunning visuals were ruined by a lame attempt to give them a third dimension. And none of the animals and things actually jumped out at you! I also dislike 3D because it forces you to think about the movie, and not just become immersed in it. I don't think anyone has ever been to a 3D movie without peering out from behind the glasses to see what it looks like without them.

  • I like Bambino Alex, only marginally more than Alex Faraday.

Yeah, I have those Disney 3d glasses, too.

    Nice SW reference.

I LOVE Rachel Leigh Cook. XD

Sometimes 3D movies are cool, but I had the same reaction when I saw that they're making Step Up 3D.

Star Wars in 3D = no thank you. I like my Star Wars as original as possible, which is why I still own the VHS tapes.

The only movie that I thought was BETTER in 3D was Avatar, but that's because it was a terrible movie. lol.

  • lmao at first all I heard was Josie and I was like WAIT WHAT? Then I heard Josie and the Pussycats, -_-

(my name is Josie if you didn't get that)

  • I don't like 3D films because when I tilt back my head to eat popcorn my eyes look out below the glasses, thus breaking my immersion in the film.
