  • grew up playing this, sonic, and virtua fighter non stop lol have no idea y this game was so addicting, and i still play it, i friggin love it! must put the soundtrack library on my ipod fpr nostalgia, and this shits good, could you imagine just upgrading it how sick these songs would sound

  • Man... Never record sega's audio via Gens! Use Fusion emulator with SuperHQ enabled! To know what I mean just listen to the track from the location with two clocks which blast when you short-cut two arrows.

  • Brilliant game!

  • My favorite music is intro tune. I can listen to it many times.

  • Great song from an awesome game... my all-time favorite for Genesis. Everyone who likes this game's music, I've got a surprise for you. Just check my video response at the top (Comix Zone Theme (rock version) ;) Thanks

  • As a kid, I thought this guy was Bazooka Joe's dad

  • 3:01 is one of my favorite Genesis game songs of all time. DrManhattan's Paper Covers Gun is a great cover.

  • i meant, like my bad

  • if you all lie this music i highly suggest the ooze soundtrack as well

on a side note i always hated how you take damage from hitting inanimate objects

  • This game rocks ;)

  • Your Kung-Fu is good!

  • Best "Sega" intro of all.

  • This is my ALL-TIME favorite game soundtrack!! along with Sonic 2 and Streets of Rage 2!

  • That first part...ALWAYS reminds me of Escape from New York.

  • I always got stuck in the lava level.

  • Comix Zone...Ah what a good game :D

It's too bad that few people have heard of this game...It was released to late n the Genesis lifespan...1995...

  • 7:11 and forward is probably my favorite music in video games.

  • god i loved this game so much

  • 4:00 Falcon Pawnch! Oh no, wrong game, sorry.

  • Song at 310 :Sounds like the song Needle in the Hay by Elliot Smith (from Royal Tenenbaums)

  • @Devr0ss hah, I do hear exactly what you're talking about now, and that album came out in 1995 too. I must have been too engrossed in the soundtrack's awesome grunge/Rage/Pumpkins worship to notice my first time through.

  • I was never big on beat-em-ups, but this one stands out from the crowd. Jumping from panel to panel, while battling your own creations and also having conversations with them while battling them through speech-bubbles is really unique, and also very fun. As lots of other people have said though, REALLY hard. If you fall down a bottomless pit, it's instant game-over.

  • Howard Drossin, the man behind the music of Comix Zone, Sonic Spinball, Sonic & Knuckles, and now part of Sonic & The Black Knight. All great albums to listen to!

  • I recently played this game again and realized I had never gotten the good ending before! Man was I surprised when I played through it again and got a different ending! Who would have known..

  • I have the entire game soundtrack on my ipod...it's class.

  • I'd LOVE to hear a live arrange of this soundtrack. That would be insanely awesome. 8D

  • Search for the band Roadkill, vocalist Howard Drossin, they made the soundtrack and some versions of the game would come with an audio CD with 6 track of their original songs.

  • one of the best soundtracks on the mega drive.

  • I used to love this game. Was ROCK hard.

  • This has a very Genesis sound to it. Game is pretty hard. i'm going to play through it though even if I get very frustrated.

  • omg, Sketch is hot. :)

  • Yay, lucky me, I got this game when it first came out and it came with a soundtrack CD. Still play it today.

  • Man... This music is pretty sexy. Very nice. Gotta grab this one. ;)

  • After having gotten my hands on this OST I simply haven't been able to stop listening to it since. One of my faves would definitely have to be the song at 3:00, "Night of the Mutants: Part 1". I just love Comix Zone!

I don't know what I'd do without this channel. ^_^

  • hey you got the ost ? qould you mind sending it to me ? it's been a while i been looking for this i want to put it in the bar :P

  • "Well done, Turner"

    "Oh, Yeaaaa!"

  • I never thought you were going to play the "Game Over" song.

  • why wasnt there ever a sequel to this game?

  • It was released at the wrong time, so it didn't get nearly as much attention as it deserved. A sequel would have a lot of potential. High resolution hand drawn backgrounds with hand drawn sprites (or cel shaded characters, for that matter) would be amazing. And, of course, a grunge rock soundtrack. ;)

  • @rotothirteen I say they should make a 2.5D remake for the PS3 and 360.

  • This was a game I needed on VC, the pc was sheer annoyance thanks to the keyboard... God the music... love it.

  • Night of the Mutants ranks there up in my top ten..

  • Brilliant game, I'm guessing it's a little short, it seemed that way but I never completed it. Still one of my favourite Genesis games :)

  • The game is six pages long, so this video ends just over half way through. :P

  • I cant get past the snow level its so goddamn hard!

  • Me niether :(

  • Used to play this game at school all the time

  • This game is so fuckin' interesting.

  • Great music, great graphics, great gameplay. Only fault of this game is its short lenght. But they gave it multiple paths so it still have high replay value :)
