So are you going layout the plumbing on the kitchen floor and jackhammer them out or but some of the water lines in the walls.? Looks like you have a fine crew this time,Good Luck with your new home.
@StrikerTripleThree Still not sure about the kitchen plumbing. The normal way in Thailand is to hide the pipe in the wall, But out plans had them in the floor, Which still can be done easily, I well leave it up to the engineer, That's his job, I just did not like it when the foreman lied to me and said it was as per the plans.
I'm going to subscribe and watch the house progress! My friend has built a house, a store, and a guest house upcountry. It was fun to watch from a distance! Good luck!
I must have missed one or more of your updates last I saw was the getting started ceremony. I think building your house is a nightmare the world over. Mine was built in the 70's and I still say I would never do it again. With me it was government and bank inspectors that almost drove me crazy. This new crew is really earning their money hand mixing cement and lifting it to the second story in your heat and humidity is very hard work. Looking good BTW.
@dalecalder2003 Well there are no inspectors here so you need to make sure everything is as it need to be yourself. I know building anything can be a nightmare anywhere, Here is no different.
Go tha Girl power!!! Good luck with the new crew.. Hope it all turns out.. It's not only in thailand that you have to watch them like a hawk! Cheeky buggers..
Good to see more of the ongoing progress and to hear the new crew is doing a better job than the others. Sadly, I can certainly relate to finding broken glass and garbage scattered everywhere, various screwups (even if they are minor), and being handed a load of BS. TiT.
@lifeinthailand I completely agree. Lying just leads to a needless time-wasting hassle. But it happens. You're doing a great job in keeping on top of the construction. Yeah, the foreman looks pretty useless. LOL!
@lifeinthailand Must be nice to have a job that lets a person sit in the shade and ogle the local ladies. LOL! Apart from that, does he actually do anything in relation to building the house?

Glad things are going better with the new crew, seems if you don't be there every other day, you'll never end up with a house.

@NightBazaar The only thing the foreman is interested in is the lady in the mini mart across the street. lol

NightBazaar 7 months ago
@NightBazaar We he is the boss, So he tells everyone else what to do, lol
As long as he don't screw up to many times and keeps the crew under control I well leave him alone, But he is being watched closely.
