  • GUYS TM IS AMAZING....JUST HANG IN THERE I PROMISE AT FIRST IT MIGHT SEEM HARD BUT YOU WILL SEE MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS IN 2/3 MONTHS....HOPE THIS HELPS xxxx :D

  • ADD medications are not safe.

  • I'm sure they do have adhd, just because you have adhd doesn't mean you're going to act stupid or confused, or inattentive in a simple interview setting like this. Most people with adhd actually have an exceptional IQ, I have adhd and can attest to this. You can tell these kids are incredibly smart, they just need to remove those mental blocks. I can't wait to try this myself.

  • I have adhd and mediation is amazing it gives u a whole new world to explore search music grab ur headphones and get going

  • Can't say that any symptoms that these boys list off are abnormal at all! I believe we are too quick as a society to label someone with ADHD. Fidgeting and not being able to concentrate in the typical american class room is what boys do best! Thank god that we're looking at meditation and not medication! But when it comes to diagnosis of ADD, we really need to be looking at the environment these kids are in, and question how it is aiding them in learning and growing.

  • @joelkling If you want to realize how bad it really can be, when I was on ritalin I was in honors classes with a 4.0 and a spotless clean room. I was off of them in high school and barely graduated and my room had piles of laundry and trash all over the floor. You shouldn't stay on the meds forever, but for many of us it's hard to truly succeed without them. At least through adolescence.

  • Yep, it sucked growing up that way. Good to see awareness finally.

  • too bad there is no science behind any of this meditation. therefore it is dangerous to reccomend it as a treatment. by the way, medication has been shown to be safe and effective since the 1930s

  • @threadysparrow Um...there's plenty of science on how quieting the mind positively effects the brain. Did you look for it? Look up the latest studies by neuroscientists on neuroplasticity (i.e., the brain gets rewired by your thoughts) and there is also plenty of science on how psych drugs are just as dangerous as street drugs. Check out myriad articles - especially on the fraud discoveries by the drug companies who make them, the film trailer for "Generation Rx", the book "The Shallows," etc.

  • @threadysparrow google Tm scientific research there are hundreds of studys done lol

  • @threadysparrow medication safe yeah right what about the children who have died from taking add adhd meds its not safe not ever

  • these are THE tamest kids with adhd i have ever seen. it honestly looks as tho none of them are hyperactive at all, they look sluggish more than anything. most of the people with adhd that i know would not be able to calm down enough to meditate. im not saying this isnt a viable way to help, but it seems highly unlikely. and how the hell did you get a classroom full of kids with adhd to pay attention to you AND meditate? this is seeming more and more unrealistic.

  • when I see these kids, I actually get the feeling that the kids dont have AD-HD but that they just have been said to tell the camera this.....dunno why :S

  • i really need help, ihope TM is something that i can get to learn and use...

  • i have adhd/Add can TM help me?

  • @bladdan Yes, go to TM (dot) org/ adhd to find out more.

    ~Best Wishes

  • @bladdan did u try it? did it help you?

  • Good day everyone, I thought I would share something I found for my educational psychology research paper. I'm researching how teaching meditation to students can help students improve concentration, memory, behavior and reduce stress. I'm also looking for someone to interview that has experience teaching this or has had this taught to them.

  • I have a feeling ADHD and ADD are caused by many things, including environmental factors and diet. I've seen kids who have gone from drinking poor diet to a healthy one and they become less irritable, giddy and more relaxed and happy.

These kids look more thoughtful and relaxed and happy after a few months of TM.

My only worry about TM is how people appear to be exploiting it for monetary gains when it should be available to all for free.

  • @LeJimster You're right that TM is just one of many things that help ADHD. But like everything, it costs money. People often assume that meditation should be free for all. Yet, no one says doctors should be giving out their services for free. No one is saying that healthy food should be provided free for all. Everyone deserves shelter, yet no one expects a house for free.

Professional meditation teachers have the same living expenses as anyone else. Why should they teach for free?

  • Yes it does help out in a academic environment during recess or scheduled times however if you are in a position that calls for quick decision making then i adderrall or amphetamines show there weight BIG TIME. I don't like taking them all the time however i also don't have enough time to meditate while conducting businesses or while away on business or conducting meetings so this technique does help but is by no means a solution at all for ADHD or ADD.

  • We should have this in our schools everywhere! This would be not only good for this kids but also good for the parents wallets. I'd love to see a child who is no on meds practice this kinda of thing and over a great amount of time to be weened off of the medication.

  • It's clear that these ADHD kids are so smart. But they just need a natural way of eliminating stress. Medications aren't holistic--too many side effects. TM is a solution for sure.

  • fannnnntastic....u can really see a difference in these kids....CII narcotics for kids....when they get to fiddlin they give em some ritalin....what a cop out

  • good! very good! danke for posting.

kids look very better when they have meditate for some time.

  • adhd is something school just diagnose ppl w/ 4 thee money.. the meds r nufin but druggin ppl kids pushing them foward 2 pill poppers!

  • yeah I think often it is... and if you give speed to a kid without ADHD, he'll be able to concentrate better too - but at a price.

  • Sweet - you can see that these kids completely changed from being stressed out to being peaceful and happy.

  • Meditation, yes. Absolutely. I've been an adult for a very long time... ADD has destroyed parts of my life I worked very hard to save, and meditation has allowed me to cut drugs that were the only help. But it my options were TM or back to the drugs while I do the research again, drugs please.

  • THis realllly is the answer to ADHD. All those crazy doctors are giving our kids speed (ritalin) with horrendous side effects!

Transcendental Meditation is so easy, cost effective and produces lasting long term results confirmed by scientific experiments.

  • Great practice for kids with ADHD because its so simple and they don't even have to sit still.

  • Nice video thanks!

  • cool kids all power to them
