  • brian!i U R RIGHT! im 13 wit tourretes and my tics r gettin worse and i cuss at random times to. everything you say is right on! keep comin wit the vids man!!!!

  • @dansprocket Thanks for the post. Sounds like you've got some great friends at work. The wooden chicken statue made me laugh. It sounds like it did the same for you. I figure, as long as we have fun with it, it's no big deal. Just something we have. And our good attitude about it rubs off on the people who live around us.

  • What do you mean when you say they wear off?

  • I mean that, for most people with Tourette's, tics decrease in frequency and severity during their early 20's, and often a person with TS will stop showing symptoms completely.

    Thanks for the post.

  • I feel really bad for the people who shout out cuss words, cause they are always apologizing to people in public.

  • Yeah. I mean, it's tough enough sometimes walking around and jerking my shoulders about. I can't imagine needing to cuss all the time. There's some things you just don't want to say in public. You always worry you're going to upset the wrong person. I'm so glad I don't have that symptom.

  • I like the way you embrace yourself and all thats included with that. I have severe chronic coughing spells and painful muscle spasms. I've decided to do like Paul in the Bible, and rejoice in my infirmities.

  • Thank you. You couldn't be more right. Some people let their disabilities rule them. Some pretend they don't exist. Rather, I think the best method is to accept the infirmities as a part of yourself, and to be thankful for the chance at a bit of uniqueness in an often mundane world. I am always thrilled to meet a like-minded individual. Thank you for contributing to my already great day.

  • Great videos brian. keep em comin'

  • Thank you, Cristy. I really appreciate it.

  • I meant it Brian. You have come so far. You took something that most people would let defeat them and you not only dealt with it but have turned it into a positive and are now helping others including your 'ol mom. You have given TS not only a face but a personality too. Your letting young and old alike know that there is not anything "wrong" with them and that is to be admired. I am so proud of you. I am the luckiest mom alive!

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad you do. I was in a weird mood when I put this one together, and it seems to have been received well. Thank you so much.

  • Brian! This made me cry. Not from sadness but from pride. This was great! I'm so proud of you and your positive attitude. You are my hero!

    Mom

  • Garsh! Thank you. I appreciate that. I figured you'd like seeing me, too. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • You are most welcome, and thank you for the kind comment. I look forward to being involved in the Tourette's community on YouTube.
