I feed him a large variety of meats throughout the week, at least once a week I give organ meats and fish. Calcium powder everyother day, and I like to alternate between meat and veggies as much as I can. or combine. I can give him as much as he likes, I'm lucky, he doesn't overeat
Because they are scavengers and eat raw meat in the wild. Sure, they don't normally find chickens, but When was the last time you saw a Tegu cook it's food?
I freeze everything for at least 2 weeks prior to feeding to kill off any possible parasites, etc.
How old is he, and is it a gold and black tegu
