  • Are you guys trying to make the trucks kiss?

  • think yall could get the trucks any closer

  • should have got a peterbilt

  • nice truck, if your gonna truck hard might as well do it a comfortable truck!

  • it is both really. it does well on fuel economy and has plenty of power. it is very comfortable inside and I get a lot of compliments (usually ending with "for a Volvo") and most importantly I like it. I recently put it on a dyno to measure rear wheel horsepower and it hit 582 HP completely stock motor and software

  • is it for luxury or or does it do a good job saving money?

  • Its the Ferd 15000

  • two gay trucks making out with eachother!!

  • Nice volva....

  • they may be new, but they are still volvos.....ugghh

  • really nice trucks .....What a shame Volvo stop producing them. how high is inside cab?

  • @scania98989

The VT-830 is the mid roof version and is 6 foot 8 inches tall inside

  • @Rawtrucker

thanks for fast reply it is very high. I thought it was lower....did you know how high is vt880

for example highest cab over here in europe on engine tunel it is scania r series topline with 7 foot 4inch .....at a time when they produced conventional truck highest had 7 foot 7inch interior as well as longline and topline coe truck but next to engine tunel

  • @scania98989

    you are welcome

sorry can't help you we do not own an vt880

  • Why such a long wheelbase?

  • @drumbasher

I just posted a video (a still shot pic) of my truck in it's current configuration. This should explain the long wheelbase.

  • @Rawtrucker Well that makes sense lol. That bucket would hurt a short wb truck for sure. Thats a good looking setup you have there too. I have always been a Volvo fan, the best riding trucks on the road.

  • this is a heavy truck just the tractor weighs almost 20,000 lbs

  • @Fjsouth

from the factory with no fuel and nothing in it you are correct 20,000

    with fuel 22,000

with all my gear, chains, binders, straps, extra axle, and APU I am at 27,000 now

  • @Rawtrucker get out of here , extra axle. why do you need extra exle.

  • nice truck and the pillows let ur head sink into them!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that's one awesome looking tractor you got there! Thumbs up and keep on truckin! =)

  • @eyeballdude

    thanks

  • Who care's what people say just ignore or delete the comments. Makes no sense to delete videos. What I hate someone might like. Any how, nice truck.

  • Some asshole got the 800 # off the side of my truck and actually called my boss SEVERAL times in an attempt to get me fired and acted as if he had some kind of POWER saying the feds would be investigating me all over a comment I made on someone elses video consisting of 7 words and none of them cuss words. My boss played me the message on his voicemail. He said he told the guy he would have to subpoena him as he was not giving any info out on me. The dude was actually looking for my info. WTF???

  • I must say seeing it threw a uk truckers eyes. u have a fantastic rig. carnt wait to come over there todo my cdl. take it easy and clean..

  • Hey. Thanks for the comment. I love my 625 HP Volvo. Great pulling truck... not to mention comfortable as well.

  • @Rawtrucker Volvo is the most comfortable truck Ive been. Dont get why everyone loves Petes so much, too cramped. Good to here you like it though, my dadwas drivin a 670 with a 460 Volvo in it, not a huge engine but man did it pull up hills loaded.

  • @wstarcummins I like the looks of Pete, KW, StarCar, Internationals, and even a few Freightshakers. I really am not a "hater" of any of these trucks. I have driven all but Western Star. I must say that the Volvo is the best riding truck. It is also very quiet. Pulling is all in how you spec the truck. This truck with the 625 pulls hills and cruises on the flat lands just fine with the 3:42 ratio rears, but if I went much heavier than 160,000 lower ratios or an aux. transmission will be needed.

  • i didn't know that big rigs have TCS

  • VOLVO does... not sure which other manufactures do. My truck's TCS is active all the time and the other truck has a TCS switch to disable it. I am not sure why you would want to disable it.... but that is what my boss was talking about

  • I have never owned. Always driven for someone. I spend my money foolishly and I know it. You have to have money "in the bank" for operating costs and expenses at all times. I got this guy to buy it for me. He was a previous employer. I made a deal. Buy me this and I come back to work for you. He bought the sister truck also. Good deals on both. He just bought 2 more 2008 brand new black look like mine but shorter wheelbase. He has 12 trucks now. W9 KW's a T800 & 379 Petes. Tryin 2 survive now

  • which one is the truck in the 625hp pulling vid there both nice rides

  • That is mine. The black one. I have done a couple more pulling videos one where I am 114,000 lbs passing a 80,000 lb (or less) "freight hauler" pulling FANCY GAP on 77 north at NC / VA line going UP the hill. I am grossing 139,000 right now. Deliver in the morning St. Cloud, MN. I will post more videos one of these days when I feel like it. Thanks for the comment. PEACE

  • hey 10-4 thats my favorite road ya ever noticed anytime ya wanna see somthin a damn box truck will get between u and it lol. do you own both of those trucks

  • And what's up with 'reeferskankpot'? A lot of anger in that guy. Rip-off? Does he know where he lives? The UK is outrageous when it comes to fuel, amongst other things...like food. And whoever refers to the UK as the U of K...is a noob.

  • haha i see people all the time on youtube trying to take someones comment page and turn in into a fighting ground. so i just thanked him for his comment. no need to add fuel to the fire.

  • Are you still enjoying your midroof 830? Just curious...

  • yeah... only 15,000 miles on it. still love it.

  • THANKS

  • You can read my description on the video with many details. It is a D16 Volvo.

  • cummins ISX or the volvo engine? those are my favorite luxury tractors.

  • MACK for like 2002 or older macks i mean.

  • That looks cool with the trucks like that!

  • Thanks... you mean them parked nose to nose I guess. The driver of the Orange truck (Denny) rolled up to mine with the boss man guiding him.

  • Yes..nose to nose..looked so cool, haven't seen that before!! : )

  • I do love those trucks. I also do like Peterbuilt.

  • Do u need a spread axle reefer for that black volvo? I got one that would match! I would look even sweeter

  • Not our line of work. I have never pulled a "box" always open trailers since 1992. We are looking at a 2007 Trail King 10 foot wide 3+3+3 nine axle Lowboy to go with it. Weighed truck today bare at 21,720 bobtail (50 gals from full of fuel) brought it to have APU installed. Will be 27,000 lbs bobtail by the time we get done adding everything (my guess) and that trailer is 65,000 pounds by itself. We have BIG plans... just hope the crashing economy does not effect us like it is so many others.
