If you got the horse to collect, bring his head down (without over flexing) he could use his butt muscles and, arch his back into proper carriage... This is much better for soundness, health and, mind. He would work much better. Good coloring on him.

I think the Marwari horses look amazing, such graceful paces and great carriage.Shame we dont see more of them in the UK as theyre such a distinctive and fabulous breed.

Seriously that's not a natural headset, If you watched those horses in the pasture their heads wouldn't go that high ever! It's rider doesn't have good hands or good feel of his horse!  Pretty horses though but their ears are way weird.

Is this gaite Rawal the one that is very comfy to travel for miles doing? I had a half mawari in Kashmir and in Cochin when i lived in India with my parents. They are truly beautiful. Do u feed yours eggs, fenugreek, fennel, black salt, apart from the eggs, i feed my haflinger those things plus garlic.

These beautiful creature love showing off and making their owners happy. Looking at all the videos I have seen from India, I've come to realize these animals are babied. They are treated the way horses should be treated. I'm very impressed.

Don't Marwaris have a naturally high head set? American Saddlebreds have an artificially high headset but I don't see signs of head checks or things like that. The riders reins don't look over-tightened.

Beautiful horses! Very interesting to watch the gaits. How do you ask for the Rawal gait? Will they walk, trot and canter as other horses? And is this gait in addition to them? There are not too many Marwari's here in the US.

these horses can perform as other horses they are very good for tent pegging .frankly speaking these are owned as status symbol most of the owners are not good rider so they like rawal ,In you dont have to raise a layman can ride.

No offense meant, but I think ponyhorse9 was saying poor horse, because the spotted horse was traveling with it's head WAY up to avoid the pain of the bit in the mouth. Most horses have super sensitive mouths, using too harsh a bit that will cause pain, especially if the rider is a novice and has "bad hands". Just about any horse will stargaze to avoid contact of the bit's mouthpiece on the bars of it's mouth if the rider doesn't have sufficient riding skills, ie, poor hands.
