John Pilger has worked so very hard all his life to get the facts to the people - no candy coating or "spin" - just facts. Too bad the majority who desperately need the information squander what's left of their brains on the super bowl.

If anyone REALLY deserves a prize for peace, it's John. If the mass murderer Obama had ANY shame at all he'd give HIS undeserved Nobel to Bradley Manning!

If ever the label "hero" applied to anyone, it's John Pilger!

For anyone who lives to have a go at Pilger, here's a suggestion. Instead of that, consider a few points:

Has he ever been sued for defamation, libel or slander and lost? If no, that means that like all real journalists (Chris Hedges, Sy Hersh and others), he does his homework.

Maybe all Pilger bashers should do the same.

John Pilger paints an accurate picture of the sin of the world: rich powerful corporations, banks, and politicians pulling the levers, controlling, and manipulating the poor and uneducated. He assures us so solemnly that his own family was persecuted in the Victorian past. But does he offer any remedies? And how self righteous he is when he holds up the suffering of the Aborigines like the shining gem of socialist. HE CAN eliminate this. He can make us all the same height,

Even though he DOES offer remedies, is it John Pilger's role to do that? Or is he just the messenger of how far wrong the entire world has gone? To suggest Pilger is 'self-righteous' after his bravery and towering achievements in journalism and human rights is as moronic as it is unfair. The man has done more good than you will ever do, so spare us your juvenile, half-baked opinion!

@nbm34 Yes, some nations have the strength to stand up. The French and Iranians seem to have that Revolutionary blood in them. I have much admiration for ppl like that. It appears the Greeks are shouting as well. Tunisia more recently. Have u seen the Tunisian riots? if not find it on utube or my favs :)

@Badwolf182 Of course you are right that a revolutionary spirit is not, founded on any particular race. The French, had this in them. They eliminated the original Aristocracies in the French revolution..Napoleon created new ones etc. At least so called elites can be beaten on a local level. To-day it it is more complexed with the banksters and their the NWO of human exploitation,and poverty operated on a GLOBAL scale.. I THINK THE PEOPLE ARE AWAKENING to who their real enemies are now.
