Tynt is very inefficent. It adds an additional 35kb of data to transfer each time your page loadeds. Only 10% of the 35kb of data is even used on a normal page load. As well, this 35kb could easily be compressed to 10kb with gzip.

From a developers point of view tynt sucks, although it is very user friendly, on large scale websites, it is much better to create your own script that does the same thing... besides, if you know what your doing you could have the basic features in 5 minutes.
