From the moment i saw the previews of Ally Mcbeal back before it's debut , i knew i would be hooked , the chemistry and relationship that Ally and Billy had mirrored what i had with my true love , even resembled him (minus moustache-beard).
This was very well done and i am moved to tears , after this season , i did not care for the show anymore , just wasn't the same without our beloved Billy ..
Though , i did catch the episode with Sting, and (RDjr ) was good ,still, for me , Billy + Ally..

Whatever the real reason was why David E. Kelly wrote Billy Thomas out of the show: it was THE BEST thing they could do!! Not because i didn´t like him or anything. Because that's the episode where Ally says what I said earlier, that whole: "Like you were to me four years ago" So she knows in that episode, so it has to be an episode before that, when he tells her or when she finds out he cheated on her with Georgia.

I came online tonight specifically looking for something like this: Billy's last scene in Ally McBeal. I haven't seen it since it first aired. All of the emotion was still there and I found myself broken up all over again. Thanks for reminding me why I loved this show so much for so long. --Scot
Lary was a great character but you cannot compare him to Billy. Billy was great. The dynamics between Billy, Ally, & Georgia in seasons 1-3 were so good. Seasons 1-3 are waaaay better than season 4. The fourth is good but all the other characters like elaine, renee, nelle, richard and ling sufferred because they gave larry way to much screen time. And that ain't right.
And I agree the perfect season was the fourth, I loved Larry!!!!But I still prefer Billy who couldn't stop loving her in a way only he did, purely, truthfully, they were soul mates because he was the firt ass she's ever sniffed (she said)!!!! I love talking about the show!!!
Two of the best episodes of any shows on TV: When Billy died on Ally McBeal, and when Peter died on ThirtySomething. Both heartwrenching. Both beautiful.

this is beautiful...I cried when Billy died and I had tears in my eyes while watching this...thank you so much this video is uniqe and I agree with AmiraNZ, I love that song too and I get tears in my eyes when there are flashbacks with them in background...Anyway, thank you really much for this...=)

I just watched this episode yesterday (its on reruns here) and I cried so much! I'm honestly so sad about it. I know its sad and its a TV SHOW and an episode that was filmed like 8 yrs ago! But still its sooo sad!!
I love the video but u know what song would be nice - the song Vonda Shepard sings about the boy next door - Neighborhood! Oh when they played that song and brought flashbacks - the waterworks just kicked in!!

Yes I love this song too. But I wanted a song witout no lyrics, that's why I made that choice....because I wanted it to be short, with their voices and because i think that this music is just overwhelming....But I love "boy next door" too

I came online tonight specifically looking for something like this: Billy's last scene in Ally McBeal. I haven't seen it since it first aired. All of the emotion was still there and I found myself broken up all over again. Thanks for reminding me why I loved this show so much for so long. --Scot

Lary was a great character but you cannot compare him to Billy. Billy was great. The dynamics between Billy, Ally, & Georgia in seasons 1-3 were so good. Seasons 1-3 are waaaay better than season 4. The fourth is good but all the other characters like elaine, renee, nelle, richard and ling sufferred because they gave larry way to much screen time. And that ain't right.

Billy is Billy, he left her for some barbie doll,
the perfect match would have been Larry,
always there 2 cheer her up, except where
that ass left her 4 ever.
It was a nice time with Billy, but after 3 almost 3 seasons with him, it finally came to an good and moving end.
But in the whole, the season with Larry Paul
was the best, he was her perfect mate,
just remember the pianoscene, where he sings
"I wish I had a river", tears running down my cheaks.
Anyways a great vid, gave me goosebumps.

And I agree the perfect season was the fourth, I loved Larry!!!!But I still prefer Billy who couldn't stop loving her in a way only he did, purely, truthfully, they were soul mates because he was the firt ass she's ever sniffed (she said)!!!! I love talking about the show!!!

Two of the best episodes of any shows on TV: When Billy died on Ally McBeal, and when Peter died on ThirtySomething. Both heartwrenching. Both beautiful.

I used DVD decrypter and DVD shrink to transfer clips onto my computer!!! Then I used Ulead Video to make vids!!!(old times!!!)
