Unforunately, that thing you saw flying in the backround was spraying the airbarne cancer cure you discovered, it was a virus, not a vaccine. You and your daughter are the only things still alive. that cross in the background of the car scene after your wife killed herself was her grave.

Fortunately, you got the (relatively speaking) happiest ending (even though humanity is still doomed to extinction), and it is possible to play again if you use an inPrivate window or clear your cookies.
