I hatched about 20 chicks. I put them all in a very small container though. They were all desperate to get out. So then, I poured gasoline all over them and lit them all on fire and they all squeeled like the little chicks they are. They all died. The End.

I have a simple question regarding canary and I would really appreciate if u helps me. I have a pair of canaries are 9 days that the hen has made the eggs. After a test with light that I made to the 5 eggs it results me that just 2 of them it looks fertile, so I want to now can be that some of eggs are fertil and others not?

Do NOT throw them out until there is absoulutely no chance of them hatching. It takes 21-25 days for an egg to hatch. If it hasn't hatched, chuck it, the mother may die trying to hatch it..

how do u keep them alive? Don't they need a mother to nurse it? I found some sparrows a couple days before they opened their eyes so that was a lot easier taking care of. But the eggs I found when they just hatched, died the next day. They were eating but maybe couldnt get it warm?
