Its a slang so you dont have to understand it.

Translation: "The Film is nice but the commentator is just smattering"

"garnich" means "gar nicht". And in the sentence "geht ja garnicht" stands for "i dont like it" or "its bad"

yeah, I knew garnicht meaning "not at all". but I was confused by something else. Thanks so much for your help. It's funny, when I was in germany I wanted to practice german and all the germans wanted to practice english. I would speak broken german and they would speak broken english. thanks again for your help.

chris is the man but 5.15 would have come way before chris put up 5.15. If wolf gang would not of died... THATS A FACT. But chris is still more powerfull. Gullich is the first icon.

I think you dont know what youre talking about. Gullich is the king of hard climbing. check out action direct.. dynoing from a shallow mono to a 2 finger pocket!! For free soloing chek out Dan Osman or Dean Potter... Dan osman is a legend and Dean only soloed el capitan!!! SO please dont tell me they are better chris is just too commercial he is very good but gullich is the man!!!

so you think i dont know dan osman? haha.. alain robert was known to solo the hardest soloed routes. chris sharma is the strongest climber ever, iron crossing two finger crimps. chris sharma doesnt even rate his routes now, coz they're about v16, which never occured before.

chris sharma is the first man ever to climb 5.15... ehem,, that proves he is better... dont get me wrong,, your suddenly so mad,, i do respect all the climbers you've mentioned of course.. after all climbing isn't about who is better... that was just my opinion, instead you reacted like a child..

Love Chrs Sharma. His way of climbing, atittude, etc, and I don't think that he'll ever give a damm of who's better than who. That said, Güllich established new bigwall routes in the Karakoram, in Patagonia, etc... and new difficulty standards 4 times (1st 8b, 8b+, 8c and 9a)...

just putting this out there...but WG pretty much was climbing 5.14 when people where just getting into 5.12/5.13. I know Chris S. is sick and brought 5.15 to the grade scale...but in the long run WG was way more ahead of his time.
