@ajd1211 You know, I think the right would be a little crazy to put a tea party candidate up for election. They're so far right that and of the center-right voters may shy away from voting for them. Get a more centrist-right candidate in place and the far right voters are still going to vote for the conservative candidate but then they'd have the appeal to those of us that are more moderate.

Eric Cantor (R-VA) said he supports infrastructure spending, as well as small business tax cuts when he was interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Both of those were included in Obama's jobs plan, and yet Cantor repeatedly spoke out against it. The reason he didn't support Obama's jobs plan is because Obama's a Democrat. If Obama was a Republican, Cantor would be campaigning for it.
