  • to test a pressure washer you dont really need the hose and wand, as long as it shoots out pressure when running its good

  • Great job on this rebuild. I have to order those radial pistons w/ the ceramic plungers to do the same job. Cheaper than buying a new style pump. $300.00 anyway, thanks 4 posting!

  • did that guy ever pick up his pressure washer ? good first vid

  • @monkeysatch Yeah, he picked it up eventually. Hell, this was so damn long ago too! I forgot this video was even there..LOL!!

    Thanks much man

  • You did great on your first video man! I just decided to watch it :)

  • @wheely132 Thanks man! I appreciate that

  • @mbyr31 Ha no problem! I remember my first video :) It was on a video game. I used to have my really old camcorder then, it recorded in "480p" Yeah right, more like high quality 240p or low quality 360p, lol.

  • You should apply for a job with the company for repairing that pump, well done!!!!!!!!!!!!, i certainly know that i could not do it?.

  • @Brighteyes1ful I would certainly like to. Unfortunately, there isn't a big demand for this.

    Thanks man.. I appreciate it!

  • haha o my goodnessi just relized i use that same exact pressure washer like 4 hours a day at work. them engines are SUPER reliable!! the company i work for hires idiots so it got the snot ran out of it, i used it 1st 2 wks i worked there and i figured id change the oil, come to find out it had literally like 4 oz of oil in it. haha STRONG honda's CONGRATS on the 1 year man!!!! big time!!!

  • @NRP1991 Thanks again Nick! I appreciate it man.. You were the first to comment on this a year ago yesterday!!!

  • wow i`ve been looking for a pump rebuild video...mbyr31 when you took off the piston assembly ? the o rings or packing are they easy to replace or is it inside the main body....i just picked one up, same set up as yours and it leaks water out of the pistons wasn`t sure if it was easier to replace pump or rebuild with o ring kit....nice video thanks for any help you can give

oh by the way how did yours work ??

  • @PGXI Honestly, I don't remember. This was almost a year ago. I do know the job was easier than I had thought it would be. Secondly, I didn't have anything to operate the pump when it was here, but I was told by the guy that it ran great. Thanks man

  • Is there a trick on some pumps i took off the 4 enigne bolts and the shaft screaw and it wont come off? Anything i missed? Messed with it for like an hour and nothing.

  • @th19940305 Providing all the fastners have been removed, spray it down with some PB Blaster and using a wood block and a hammer, lightly tap on it (if you have room to do so of course). There really is no trick. I'm not sure how the craftsman are, but this one was on a splined shaft. This one also came off with no problems. Just make sure all the fastners are removed first. Sometimes, there could be hidden ones! LOL

    Hope that helps man

  • @th19940305 if you removed the set screw on the shaft and the four bolts on the body it should come off spray some wd-40 let it sit and use a rubber malet to tap it free...i just did mine it was easy

  • Nice video, i got a craftsman and can't get the pump off

  • @th19940305 Thanks man. Every pump set up is a little different. This pump wasn't too bad, but I have worked on nearly impossible pumps before.

  • sweet video wow VERY detailed to almost like wolfsheadoiil!!! kick ASSSman

  • Thanks man!! I love his videos also!! I enjoy everyones videos!!
