And now look at the mess we're in with Obama...
Haven't progressed at all with anything, from war to the economy. Just spent more and more money and all the Democrats bend over for Obama like how Obama bends over for foreign political leaders.
He's increased the deficit even more and his stimulus hasn't done shit.
I'm doing fine. The stimulus package saved a lot of teaching positions in my school district. I think it is typical that people who didn't vote for him or who are deeply opposed to him are so quick to play Monday morning quarterback and claim fowl when the United States hasn't turned into a paradise with everyone loving each other and with zero crime and zero unemployment. I agree that all of his policies haven't come to frutition. So easy to throw it up in people's faces particularly minorities
Did the so called "stimulus" help the private sector out. Did the so called ":stimulus" keep unemployment under 8%. I was against the "stimulus" from the start because I knew if would fail. I have had so much fun seeing President Obama fall on his face this last year.
P.,S. are you getting prepared the inflation to hit hard and for this country to go bankrupt just like California did because of Obama's $trillion deficits?
So what? It did save some private sector jobs in manufacturing and technological jobs. Of course you are so hateful and can't see that at all because. You just love to see a black president fail wouldn't you. I don't really live in the U.S. Americans like you are stupid and ignorant. The deficits were caused by previous administrations.
Skin color has nothing to do with it. Now you can call me stupid and Ignorant all you want to. But the fact is that George W. Bush did have $ Billion deficits President Obama had a $1.3 Trillion deficit las year and President Obama has a budget of $1.6 Trillion this year. And you better look in the mirror on calling some one hateful after you left a message on another channel calling for the "white devil" to be lynched.
Fuck Obama! We british are cleaning up your fucking mess in Afganistan, Iraq and Iran and your fucking "saviour" want to pull you bastards out? Are you for real? You praise a man that makes your nation look like a bunch of whimps? Step aside, your status as a top nation is gone, at least bush had the balls to go to war, Obama runs away just like the past generation of ethnics trying to have power. Prove me wrong.. Obama pulling out doesnt mean your weak? I think so.
Isn't it funny that more people voted during the 2004 election than the 2008 election? I voted for McCain because I'm a Republican, and everyone started calling me a racist because I didn't like the black candidate. I never new that Democrat was a race.
I was for Obama. However, I also have friends that are Republicans like you. Most of them were called racists by other people. It is a bit ridiculous that people jumped to conclusions like that. I'm glad he won, but if I didn't like him, I wouldn't have voted for him. That would not have made me racist. So I understand where you are coming from Klnwltrnk.
It goes to show people that race continues to be a factor in this election. People call people racist for not voting for Obama for a variety of reasons. A lot of people saw racial overtones at McCain rallies, some supporters of McCain called Obama a Muslim, some McCain supporters called Obama a terrorists, some people called Obama a black separatists because of Rev. Wrights comments, and many McCain supporters said that wouldn't vote for a black president.
@CoolScoobydoo What humans need to realize is that before the 1500-1600's there was no such thing as racism. Racism is something humans created based on the slave trade and other factors. Long ago you were not judged by the color of your skin. I wish we could go back to those days in attitude.
Actually more people voted in '08- over 129 million people voted in 08 just over 121 million voted in 04 election..John Kerry got over 59 million Obama got over 69 million Bush got 62 million McCain got 59 million..GOP voter shrunk Democrats increased 10 million
ok but why you don't like him i mean .. he's intelligent and i live in canada, we have free health care, free education and .. yeah and we are not a socialist state ... but at least we live a bit better than american oh and i forgot, we have our own doctor, again it's not a SOCIALIST STATE OMG WTF BOMB .. no its democracy and some common sence.
Obama is going to have a difficult work ahead, i hope he can do something, but worst than bush and the fucking republicans no way is gonig to be years to fix this mess the worst in our lifetime created by the great gop and still people defending them, shame on you
I guess we can thank you and GWB, the big super Moron that screwed this couuntry up. 8 billion dollars a month times 5 years and a world reputation down the tubes, it cannot get any worse. It's going to take quite some time to recover from being ruled by Georgie the clown.
Blame our Congress as well. It isn't one man's fault. Everyone in Congress is in some way at fault. What is going to happen when Obama fails as well? Blame it on the dems then elect GOP again? When are the sheeple going to wake up. Nice vid though.
You should see the early years how the big kahunas/big wigs in govt ignored obama and tried to block him out when he tried to participate in anything but he overcame it.
Nice bookend of merging that 'Yes We Can' Video with the Election results/reactions. Makes me appreciate how long and hard it's been and thank God it's over. If this is wrong, I don't want to be right :)
I wanna thank the people of the world for your support of our new president. Its been a long time sense countries around the world have thought good about us. And we are just as proud of OBAMA as you are. Thank you!
this year has had so many historical differences in America and i am very fortunate to have lived through it and i can tell my children and grandchildren that i witness this historic moment....
I'm an Independant, with Libertarian leanings. I wanted to vote for Obama but was unable to register due to ID and residence issues. I watched the election with my 14 yr old son and we were both emotional. When it was declared, I was overwhelmed and proud and relieved. His speech was phenomenal and should go down in history as one of the most inspirational speeches ever.
God bless America, God bless our new president, God bless our friends all around the world! WE DID IT!
I am registered Republican who sat this election out (voted for Nader), but I have to say that this is truly a remarkable an inspiractional victory for humanity. It warmed my heart to see people not only in this country but all over the world rejoice in a spirit of hope and reconciliation. Obama deserved to win, plain and simple, and I truly wish him, his family, and our beloved country all the best. As well, Godspeed to McCain (a true war hero) and Palin (the beloved hockey Mom).
Not to crap on your nice message Fingerbang666but did you see the video of Nader on Fox with Shep Smith where he calls Obama Uncle Tom and stands by it on the night of the election victory. Shep is just floored and give Nader many oppts to get out of it, but he doesn't. it's on youtube. awful
The seeds may have been sown for the first leader to truely trascend borders. That is, perhaps we are seeing the first leader who can mobnolize the masses not only in his own country -or at least generate the beleif required for the rise of the mighty- to emerge against prevailing governemtns or anti-people policies. If true we are witnessing the yet unwritten, but critical componnet, of a truely globalised world, not bound solely by economic interdependence rather the audacity of hope.
I am white, and a Republican, and this is the FIRST Democrat I ever voted for since 1984.
So,......yes we can. There is something so inspiring about this man. And if ANYONE wasn't choked up after watching his victory speech, then they will never understand.
I love the fact that I have been seeing black people understand that we didn't vote for Obama b/c of his color. He's brilliant, he's educated, inspiring, he bring hope...oh, and he just HAPPENS to be black. Color has just been united as 1.
I am a registered Republican who voted for Obama. His campaign was inspirational to so many and I hope and pray that he will be a successful president. Congrats to Obama and to McCain, both of you did well. That's the beauty of America. That's why people everywhere are so happy. Our transfers of power are peaceful and inspire so much in all of us. Our system worked, hopefully for the better.
Like i say, Barack is Unique. He is not like the bLACK AMERICANS, he got his roots and can trace his history unlike the black slave americans. He isnt the descendant of a slave, and to me that is UNIQUE, and A BIG DEAL.
Congrats OBAMA!
